Love the flinch from the brown jacket fellow when he thinks his brother might flag him. Lol. Near the beginning. Nice to see lever guns and shotguns in the mix. Just discovered your channel.
My top rifles are the ones i currently own. A Taylor's and company/Uberti 1873 Winchester replica in 357 mag, Henry big boy in 357 mag, the new Ruger/Marlin model 1894 in 357 mag and my favorite is my Marlin Texan bought in 1976 in 30-30. Love your videos gentlemen hope you keep them coming!!
Great video, just found you guys. Hard to beat peep sights for simplicity but love running a leupold 2.5x fixed power on the marlin if I need to run a scope. Though I always go back to the peeps for weight and simplicity and fun .
We've got a few different older military gun videos out now! Go check out our videos and you'll find a few pretty neat historical guns! We've got a 1911 that was carried on D-day, an old German Luger, a Sterling SMG and a Makarov. We will have more to come as well! The Springfield pictured will have a full accuracy testing video here in the near future.
As said in a comment below for a 22 I have a Ruger MK4 pistol to cover small game. I do understand it is not as good out at distance but it keeps me from having to carry 2 rifles in a bad situation. My rifle choices for SHTF is my 11.5 BCM AR silenced as you mentioned because of ammo, mags, and parts. I have a Mini 14 and love it but stockpiling Mags cost way too much so it is a back up firearm. The second rifle is a tough call for me as I only have a few so its between Ruger Mini 14, a 300 BLK AR with a 10.5 bbl, DSA SA58 para trooper (FN FAL clone) and a Ruger/Marlin 1894 in .357. I have lots of 308/7.62x51 for the SA58 but the lever 1894 is a lot more fun so I guess I will go with the Ruger/Marlin 1894 in .357 and just start buying more ammo for the SHTF...lol
My favorite is my BCM 14.5 with an EoTech Exps3, Streamlight pro with a pressure pad, vertical foregrip, Magpul backup irons. For handguns I love my Glock. Both the BCM and Glock are both very reliable and I could trust they would work in a serious situation. I like the channel i subscribed.
Narrowing down rifles would be much harder. A 22 for sure but if you had a ruger mk3 pistol you could almost negate the need for a rifle. I would never be without my garand because it always runs and I have a few hundred clips so that part wouldn't be an issue, only drawback would brass retrieval for reloads. My 1886 45-70 would also be a top choice because you can handload for different needs. And I possibly could make a shotshell forager round. Just drop in one at a time. For the long poke my armalite ar10t fits the bill nicely it's the most accurate rifle I have it routinely prints groups that can be covered by a nickel at 200 yards with milsurp ammo. Hand loads are even better.
It is a hard choice! Those are definitely some good options. And I agree getting a handgun to replace the 22 or another rifle gives some more options. 🤔 It's definitely fun to think about!
That's why, it's a BCM lol a buddy of mine had a 16 inch bcm that we fine tuned and cut down to 13.7 pin and weld because he wanted a 13.7 like my sons of liberty. That thing is laser beam flat when you get the right stuff in it.

I like how each gentleman represents a different great era in firearms.
Right haha! That'd why we do these videos together because between us we cover about every category out there

Nice choices on lever guns! Thanks for watching
I agree 223 has more utility, but 22-250 is a badass old school cartridge.
Yes it sure is and has alot of performance behind it

Can't go wrong with a BCM and a good lever gun! Haha it's hard to choose and hopefully we never have to only have 2 but it's fun to think about.
Hmmm nice choices!
Thanks!
Shotty Brother!! Lived up to his name lol
Haha yes he did! I think we might change it to Shotty Nerd haha
What's the difference between long guns and rifles?
Long gun would include shotguns as shotguns are not a rifle. We wanted to include shotguns as an option.

Excellent choices! BCM and eotech are a great combo! Thanks for the subscription!

What are your top Rifles or Long guns?
That BCM shoots flat as heck
Yes it does! Smoothest AR I have ever shot!

They're such great rifles for the money. Best bang for your buck in the AR world
