Yea, I have a p1p w ams, even though to buy it it’s 1400 (Canadian) I can probably only sell it for like 7-800 (cad). The a1 is 559, so I feel like I’m getting ripped off because it has a good price tag. I would do borg cube but it’s too much filament. It is nice tho to not have to put filament away because ams mini is not air tight at all
I bought prusa one month ago, and after seeing bambu products I know that I made a mistake. Now I ordered Bambu P1S, and planing to sell Prusa and to change it to Bambu A1.
According to Bambu Lab fanboys, Prusa has been dead since the release of the X1, but strangely enough they are still alive and kicking. By the way, the A1 looks like a clone of the WUXN WXR to me.

i have a little bit of a problem with bedslingers, my ender 3 v3 SE always tended to knock of any supports that were a little bit on the flimsy side, didnt have these problems with my p1s till now so theres that

I think, this can be a success for the spare parts of the printer more than a hit on sales of the printer. Maybe we can modify Creality with Bambu's pretty accesories. I hope so, as bed slingers and so on are closer to the average maker.

I'm still on an Ender 3 V2 with some upgrades (CR touch, better extrusion block and dual rod motor) and just in this past week I've been searching for a printer that can upgrade my actual Creality. I'm stuck between Neptune 4 Pro / Plus or a A1 mini but the last one is definitely too small for me... suggestions?
depends on what you print and how fast. bedslingers can be as good as coreXY and even better if adjusted correctly. Quality of Prusa MK3+4 was never a question.
Bambu lab set the voron as the standard to meet. So any of the well designed diy printers will still have a leg up. Voron, ratrig, vz, mirages printer(can't remember the name, ort?) They will always be open source, always upgrade/update able, plus since you built it you can fix it. Can you call voron, vz ect competition tho? That's a different debate. And I don't think Bambu can touch crelitys price of the lower end stuff. So the ender will stick around for a while longer.
the a1 mini is 50 bucks more than the old ender 3 and even cheaper than the new versions of ender 3. Sure it's smaller bur the A1 probably won't be much more expensive. And also the reliability of bambu printers is unmatched.
How is it sad if the competition refuses to get better? Plus their biggest competitor, Prusa, has been lying about being completely open source for years
Mostly you’d need a closed and warm chamber to succeed with PC-PBT. The A1 is not made for engineering grade for sure - I don’t need to try what does not make sense 😅
For someone who wanted to persuade me that bedslingers are shit, Bambulab makes a lot of them. Thank God I didn't believe them anyway and bought a Prusa MK4.
Disagreed: Layer shifts are not a problem of the motion system, it's a problem of motors loosing steps which can happen on any motion system depending on the settings/setup/operator.

They have NPC levels of spouting preprogrammed nonsense. All the while everything else in their life is not open. I venture to guess they are unsure what open source actually means. Is code written by a corporation(for money) less valuable than code written by a someone whose intention is unknown?(altruism, boredom, fame) I call hypocrite to those folks not as issue with their preference but with their lopsided words in everything else. I usually ask why draw a line in the sand at only 3d printers? 3d printers are becoming "appliance like" in reliability and reduction of old pain points and price will bring people in not an ideology. Until you need a tall print and the bed moving back and forth at high speeds causes issues. Bed slingers are old tech and should be relegated to people who cant afford Core XY

It is easier to enclose a corexy so you can print more exotic materials than pla/petg. they make a more efficient use of space They are more accurate and a better value overall. Also if the tech is available it should not "reserve" it for one industry. With the price dropping even "normal users" can start lucrative hobbies and businesses if they desire. If the tech were behind, effectively, a paywall we all lose out.

I’m digging the A1 mini. My largest print on the farm is 6.8” wide so it’s a good fit
I just enclosed mine so it functions just like the P1S.
I thought everyone else like me was expecting the A1 after A1 mini. Cuz it was followed with the word mini, i was expecting a normal or max version

The K1 for 399,- on sale was a steal.
Prusa has some work to do. Relying on consumers to fix the MMU long list of issues was a huge mistake.
