- Hey everyone! So for the first video in my between-seasons Pleasantview renovation and building series (I need an acronym or something my goodness!), I decided to bring you a speed build of a popping new brunch spot in Bluewater Village. This cafe is the first new community lot for our Pleasantview megaseries, based on my old favourite cafe from when I lived in Adelaide, South Australia.

Thank you so much! Yes I think Lucy and the younger generation in general will really enjoy all of the new cafes and eateries that will be popping up across the hoods, I can't wait to play them all!
And this video inspired me to build more in my Uberhood ❤ (which, btw, i downloaded following your tutorial just a few days ago... 🥰😉)

Love it! I seldom take the time to add clutter but it makes it look so realistic.

This cafe is so excellent! It feels like such a real place, that’s my favourite thing about building from real life inspo. I was going to say I am pretty certain you can use tables and chairs on the diagonal. As long as they align properly like tables and chairs have to, I did it once ages ago on a restaurant lot and when I tested it it worked. I think it’s much easier for things to align properly if you’re just using a one tile table though.
Thank you! Oh my gosh I will have to test the diagonal chairs and tables thing 👀👀 I thought I'd tried it without success but I will try it again because so many restaurants have them on the diagonal. Whenever I'm out and about I take notice of these things... Constantly collecting build inspiration 😅🙈
What a cute build! I really enjoyed the play of colors, the black in particular fits sooo nicely. And the table set is very cool 🤩

This turned out so beautiful! I absolutely love it. 🥰 I just redid my entire downloads folder too and now I'm adding a 100+ items to it again... Neverending story I suppose. 😄 Inspiring though, I love the style of this build.
Me, when I redid my downloads folder: "I'm going to keep it smaller this time, only the essentials"
Me now: adding more stuff every single day thinking "I'll test this and delete the stuff I don't like" and then keeping it all 😅🙈

Love it. Plus I keep seeing cc that I want 😂 Oops. Fancy hub caps. If I added that much cc to a lot I think the entire lot would be pink :/ So I am going to be good and not ask about any of it.
That is a lovely cafe! Have you ever got the espresso machine to work properly in an owned community lot business? Nobody ever buys one if i do it.
I had to fiddle with the autonomy & advertising settings on the machine but yes the coffee machine does work!!
@@TeaAddict Oh please tell me how to do that!! I do have a bit of SimPE experience. Or maybe you could do a tutorial? All coffee shop owners would thank you.

Also, did you go into SimPe to change the menu for this place or is it a mod? I've always wondered if that was possible!
Thanks Maks! To edit the menu I made it an owned business lot and had Jodie Larson buy it. I'm honestly not sure if you could set the menu in SimPE, but that would be very cool if you could?? I'll have to look into that...

Yep 😊 - and thank you so much!! I realised that they were bin Sims added with Bluewater village so it makes sense to add them to our rotation 👍
@@TeaAddict Ooo very nice. I know this makes the rotations long but I love the BWV characters so I'm happy. Is Chester joining too? He's also a bin sim and is employed at Ramirez's Fine Furniture so he's been in the series for a bit now. If not, that's fine (there's already a lot of sims) just curious.
@@meganrogers3244 yes! He actually loves downtown currently (I don't know when or why I moved him in??) But I'll definitely do something with him too 😊
