I used to throw away overripe bananas, but now I just stick them in the freezer. They're great in smoothies, and using frozen bananas gives smoothies a really nice texture, almost like a milkshake.
Came here to say this n you can thaw them n use them to bake when you have enough (since usually one or two left n not usually enough for bread by themselves) peel them before freezing as it is hard to peel after when you thaw them for baking
Really saddened to miss out on the deep dive. I do understand your reasoning on the change. Being disabled, I just can’t justify a membership during this economy. I’m primarily interested in learning for myself anyway, as I love thrifting for items I can’t afford retail. Thank you for the knowledge you’ve shared, I appreciate the time you spend researching your finds.
Bougie is such a clever little bird 🐦 I enjoy all your videos. It takes a lot of courage to put yourself out in the public and as usual ! Not everyone has patience to sit through the whole video. You do a great job Danni 👏
Well darn, I'm not in the member's only group so I must say I will miss little Bougie. Watching your interactions with him is so cute and warms my heart that you clearly love your animals and they love you❤
I’m sorry to see the deep dive go. I love it and I really love seeing Bougie! PS…. I stopped buying bananas because I had a freezer full of overripe bananas!!
Oh Danni, you are a breath of fresh air to me! I am so sick of what mis going on in our world and it is a pleasure to just watch you thrifting! Bless you and your family and thanks for your videos!
It is something new I tried out, I will still recap everything! It's being moved to an area that doesn't hurt my overall video content being shown by TH-cam.
I am so sad your not going to have the deep dive after your regular videos! I love them! I really like how you give further information about each item. Love, love, love, all the glass and pottery you picked up.
Aww glad I caught this video. So sad to see it change. I watched to learn more and I did. But I never found anyone to get me set up to resale so I can sell anything and not making any money so can't afford to join but tyvm for the time we did share and I wish you the best!!! Take care. 🤗
I never click off. I love the deep drive. I love hearing your thoughts and interactions with Boogee. I throw bananas in freezer and make banana ice cream in blender. Sometimes I throw chocolate covered raisins or chocolate covered almonds in and refreeze into ice cream.
I have no wiggle room to add extra $$ to my budget to join any memberships.Very sad to give us the great deep dive then take it away is all.Still will be watching just out prior to quick run thru.I blieve more people loved the deep dive than you know. There are always going to be complainers.I think if you asked youd get more fams who love it.❤❤❤❤
I use pretty single shallow bowls and saucers for under plates of potted plants. That way I can rescue singles plus get to buy pretty dishes without overloading my cabinets with unneeded dishes.
The small wooden box that hangs is for salt , or if bottom rough for kitchen matches. My grandparents kept one full of salt hanging near the stove for seasoning food , adsorb spills on stove or oven so it did not burn and to put out small fires on stove in oven . just grab box off wall and dump entire contents onto flames and fire is out.
I occasionally throw bananas away. Most of the time I either make banana bread or a banana sheet cake with a cream cheese frosting. Both a family favorite.
I love getting good baskets to put small things in for Christmas plus a good bottle of wine. Tissue paper and a pretty bow and you have a useful unique gift. Everyone can use a good basket in their homes for something. Love your videos Danni and you have a lovely family. Oh and Bougi is the bestest bird!
No I do not throw bananas away. If they start looking ripe and I know I won't eat them right away, I put them in the fridge where they will keep for several days. Yeah the skin turns black but the banana flesh stays fresh. They can also be frozen without the skin. Good for smoothies.
Hi Danni! What a great collection today! Colorful, warm and fun. I love the vase with the crystalline glaze, stunning. And the orange and red cased glass just has that mid century color with a modern look, it will sell fast. The Cynthia Rowley bowls are far too pretty to end up in an assemblage, sorry, but then too a lot of old glass gets made into mushrooms or cake plates. My favorite today is the Keith Greba art piece. He is an Alaskan artist. He captains a tourist boat and his art features the animals and sea life of AK. Some of his bigger pieces fetch bigger prices but I really like them. They all have one word titles too, kinda quirky 😊 I'm so glad I'm a member, because I love the deep dive and Bougie time. I think he tries to dance instead of saying Make it fun because you used to have him dance for his pistash at the end. Maybe we can get both. He's a smart boy! Also, in last night's live you were worried I-Lean getting lose... I hope it all works out. You might need to dig down and insert a cheap cookie sheet against the wall. Smooth to not hurt her like wood might, but she can't get thru it. Get the flat kind with no edge. ❤❤❤
Yes I do sometimes toss them because I can only freeze so many.Try them in pancake batter mashed up smoothly,in smoothies, banana splits. You can also replace oil with banana in some recipes for healthier baking.I usually only but two or three so I don't end up wasting them.
Oh so sorry to hear this. I really enjoyed seeing your bird as they ard my favorite thing. I always watch to the end but you have to do what s best for your business. 💖
Great video Dani, yep when I saw the news about the weather I was wait, what?, Pahrump should be getting cooler - not this week, so until then, Happy Thrifting!
No I freeze my bananas to make banana bread and pancakes and at spring time if I have some frozen one left bury them underneath my tomato plant with egg shelves that way they get the potassium and calcium they need love your videos
Love your videos! I am constantly waiting for you to upload! Loved the brown wave art! If it was oiled painted it would have been around $300 what I researched:) you are amazing at what you do 💕
One grandmother had a wooden one but it didnt have the rick rack design in front on it. My granddad made it for her. the other grandmothers was metal red and white with flowers.
If you want to keep your bananas firm then wrap the stalk end with tin foil. It works, the skins might get a bit spotty but the banana itself stays firm.
My 89 year old Aunt has taught me to freeze over ripe bananas for baking. You peel them and freeze in a freezer bag whole. They will thaw out and make great banana bread!
If you have very ripe bananas, mash them up and mix in some eggs on a one to one ratio. Stir in some cinnamon, seeds, graded coconut (or just the bananas and the eggs) and bake them on a low fire. It is delicious and you never have to throw bananas out again. Noah, promiss me that you will try that. 😃😊😉
On the odd occasion I throw bananas away, but lately, I’ve made smoothies with other berries ( which I freeze ) and make banana muffins or cake. Glad you found the set of four glasses, loved the pattern! As usual loved your finds!
I'm always throwing bananas away! Even if I don't buy more than 3 or 4 at a time. There's a nice-looking bowl on the shelf behind the glasses you're showing at place 26:24 in the video. On the right side of the frame, it looks to be black/gray/white. :)
I was in las Vegas last weekend for a family wedding and i was bummed out i couldn't find time to go to the good stuff store on Saturday. We had such a great time seeing family we had not seen in years. I would have tried for Sunday but the good stuff was closed. Oh well maybe next time.
The 😅pan will be perfect for banana bread, only if you can get them to use it. 😆banana are good in comost for plant food. I think Noah would've liked the pancake batter bowl, syrup server. Has he thought about going to cooking school?
Love you videos my friend!! You are a sweet person!! Love bougie!! He is so so cute!! Love you and your channel!! You are the best!! God bless you and your family !! Much love!! 🌺💜🙏🦋🥰💖🌹💙❤️💕💕💕😊😊😊

I love your deep dive. I will surely miss it.
Put over ripe banks in the freezer. When you get 3, make banana bread. The bananas, when thawed are very mushy but they make fantastic bread.
And pancakes
The crocheted linen square with the fall leaves is for lining a bread basket. Perfect for rolls! Nice.
Bye Bougie 😢😢. I will certainly miss you. Danni I like this way and the other way you showed your find’s. Again bye Bougie 🥹🥹💙💙

Hi there! I dont like mushy bananas so I freeze them. Once I have 4 frozen bananas, I make banana bread and muffins! Delish!
My bananas get overripe too, all I do is peel them and put them in baggies in the fridge till I can make banana bread. 😂
I'm not a reseller but I'm going to really miss you and the bird.
Bougie will still make appearances here and on the Niche Lady Critter Cam!
You can put bananas without throwing them away in the freezer. They will ripen, and then you can thaw them out and put them in the batter.
I love the descriptions part. I have gotten where I click off of the old end part 😮

Danni - instead of throwing bananas away, consider either freezing them for smoothies, or putting in your yard to attract butterflies! ♥️👍🏽

Overripe bananas get peeled, mashed and put in the freezer until they're used in baking or smoothies.

Too bad. I always listen to the deep dives because I learn stuff.

Lots of great items today. I hardly ever throw bananas away. I cut 1 into chunks and put in ziplock bags and freeze for smoothies, etc.
The wood hanging box is for recipe cards.
Danni, I think you have a fondness for butter dishes ever since you had the disappointment with the one that you ordered

At 52:37 there’s possibly a match to the blue round candle holder you found?
Fabulous black design wine glasses! Love them!!
Never! I freeze those bananas until I need them for backing,
I think the flip top wall box was made to hold stick matches at one time.
A matchstick box was usually metal. Not saying this one isn't one but most I've seen were metal.
One grandmother had a wooden one but it didnt have the rick rack design in front on it. My granddad made it for her. the other grandmothers was metal red and white with flowers.
Hi Danni! Your print you found was 111/750.....you got print #111 out of 750 total pulled....love you ! Keep it up! .....

Love the bird. So sweet
That tall metal pumpkin man was awesome 😎👍
I would take the 5th black swirl glass and use it for a candle or for olives does that make sense?
