At present I am 69 and I stopped dancing after relocating to the area where I now reside.( I Danced from age 18 up to 28 ) I stopped to take care of my children and myself and there was also no places to dance in this local. However, I decided recently that I would get back into BellyDancing for the Healthy aspect of the Art and I needed a good “ all over Cardio exercise for fitness “, so I thought about Belly Dance because it is also fun. Not only that but I also feel more feminine and confident with myself when I do this type of “ work out “ . I appreciate your quick ideas for costumes and I am grateful to you for them as they save me a lot of time while constructing them. Thank you 🙏, Jensuya. 👍👍🦋🦁✨✝️ 12:14

@@JensuyaBellyDance Well, I used to be crazy about belly dancing about 20+ years ago. I was taking 3 or 4 classes a week, and was obsessed with it for a couple of years😁. I'm not sure what happened, but I got involved in other things, I guess, and just kind of fell out of dancing regularly. But it was always there in the back of my mind, that I wanted to pick it up again. So a few months ago, I got the urge and started looking around online for teachers, since there weren't any live classes. Now I'm completely obsessed again, and back to dancing 3 or 4 times a week again!! 😍 I think as far as favorite style, I prefer the traditional music and dance the most. I'm not too much into the Tribal or Eclectic styles (I like watching it occasionally, but for myself I prefer to do the traditional moves).
@@christinelamb1167 I'm so glad you're picking up belly dance again. It is so wonderful from so many perspectives. And I am thrilled to be part of your new belly dance journey! ❤️

I'm so glad, @C Mc that you've found us and that we can help you to learn this beautiful art form! 💕 You can actually go a step further than TH-cam, and take our online course, Introduction to Belly Dance. It's like what we would teach in an in-person course, but better because you have lifetime access. So you can repeat the lessons and practice sessions (which you'll want to many times-I do the basics almost every day).
