I'm planning to reuse this wheelset with a new bike with a 12-speed Shimano 105 Di2 groupset. I'm going to order this part HWYABX00S3745S for Shimano 9/10/11s (ASL 11) but it should still be compatible for 12-speed Shimano cassettes.
Nice video. I’m upgrading my DT C1850 wheels with 370 hubs with SRAM Apex 11-speed with a non-XD driver to 12-speed GRX with a XT cassette that requires a microspline body. Any issues you foresee with this? Thx!
GRX is their gravel group if I'm not mistaken. This video is prepping the cassette for SLX which is MTB. I'm not sure if you can swap 12 speed gravel and 12 speed MTB cassettes with Shimano. It might all work fine, but that's something to think about.
Is the proper part number for the driver HWYABL00S2562S? I bought a second hand driver and I think it's the revised EXP version so doesn't fit quite right

@@offthemaps no, I bought the wheelset with an xd driver but no cassette and I'm putting Shimano on it. I'll just try some vice grips or something since I don't care if I screw the xd one up
@@drowninbleach you could potentially throw an xd cassette on just to get it off. Vice grips could work and you can probably keep the driver clean if you put a towel or old tire in between to protect the metal. But yeah they're a bit of a pain to get off - good luck!

Can I do this on dtswiss 370 hub? the one that comes on 2022 stumpjumper evo elite alloy. I want shimano XT
You probably can. Just be sure to purchase the correct driver for the hub.

In this video I am swapping the driver - so the answer to that would be 'yes, 350 hubs do have interchangeable freehub DRIVERS.'

Be careful about compatibility. Any change of contact will change the sound. Add a little grease if it's noisy.

Hi, I can't get my xd driver off the 350 hub. Do they have a tendency to get stuck and is there an easy way to separate them?
Did you try keeping the cassette on and using it as leverage?

Mine did, yes, but I strongly suggest that you triple check with the vendor.
