Thanks for this tutorial, helps me a lot to find huge files that occupied and maxed my HD. Now I can either trash them or move to the external HD I bought as a back up!

You can also add a second filter below size that indicates when it was last opened and/or modified; to the user having trouble locating the minus (dash) sign, it's cap + on the desktop (I'm on an iPad now; apologies if I am having a senior moment) and on an iOS device it shows up when you hit the bottom left (symbols/numerals key) and to reach the plus sign hit that same key again. Hope this helps!

I don't know what to do is it just a bug or something

If you're using Yosemite and see the "-" sign instead of a "+" as i saw, just click the gear in the top middle of the screen. Should give you the same options as the video suggests. I was able to search for videos by file size and then magically, my "-" turned to a "+".

I have about 323GB of 'movie files' on my mac that I cannot find. I have tried this method and not a single movie file came up. I store all my movies on an external hard drive so I am very confused why I would have so many movie files on my mac and even more so that I cant find any of them. Do you have a solution for this?

Pawknee123 I found out the answer; in my case, should delete all images in 'Recently deleted' folder in album. When you deleted images, you will get 'Recently deleted' folder in Album of Photos app. double click 'Recently deleted' folder and you can see all images which you deleted.
