Making ragù is kinda therapeutic for me. It's sooo relaxing, cutting the vegetables, making soffritto, searing the meat, adding all the flavours, the slow cooking, the scent of the ingredients surrounding the kitchen. It's so easy yet so delicious
I only needed to go into work for 10 minutes today because I actually did all of the hours I was going to work today, yesterday. It's simple when you know how 😂
I've always told people you don't have to put oil in your pasta water, it just runs right off. Instead like he's doing toss the pasta in the sauce as quickly as you can and that will prevent the pasta from sticking.
Cook it in 8 minutes..ready in 7 minutes..prep ragu in 5 minutes..drain for 2 minutes..season for 4 minutes..ready in 10 minutes...eat in 1 minute..shit it out after 40 minutes..watch tv for 30 minutes..call bolagnese three different ways in 1 minute
So he made the sauce in advanced which does take a couple of hours to get a nice richness out of it.... Then you take it from the fridge to heat up on a pan for ten mins 😂😂😂 please tell me this is satire?
Trust a chef that can't pronounce the words tagliatelle or Bolognese ... Trust a chef that took the ragu out of a can to show YOU how to cook dinner in under 10 minutes. Trust a chef that sleeps with KNORR STOCK CUBE!
1) the pronunciation is 100% correct in english, which is language he speaks in this video. I did my research coz i was worried about that too. 2) He made the sauce in previous video which is connected to this one, and yes, usually when u make bolognese you make big batch and use it with small amounts ''each day''. 3) no idea how he sleeps xD
@@vlastimilvavrla449 your 'correct' English pronounciation is wrong, the words are not English. Pro chefs of all nations say things in foreign languages in their original versions, only English tv celebrities don't care about that. But let me tell you something: queen Victoria has been dead for a long time and so has the empire, the world is not UK. A supposedly famous chef saying taGGliatelee is disgraceful.
Having watched a number of other British Chefs do terrible (or just plain clumsy) things to what were supposed to be Italian dishes, I must admit that this short by Marco has been a pleasant surprise. Tagliatelle or Pappardelle in a Bolognese is a favorite ( although Bucatini all' Amatriciana is my absolute favorite) so I periodically make a batch of Bolognese and freeze some of it for later. I would have to give Marco 98-99% on this one. He did NOT add (basically waste) good olive oil by adding it to the water used to cook the pasta AND mentioned that it was not necessary. There are other British Chefs who should take heed of this. He finished the cooking of the pasta in the Bolognese which he intentionally gently heated so that it would not reduce and thicken (and require the addition of a little pasta water) hence he did not save a cup of the pasta water "just in case" the sauce got a bit "tight" as an Italian cook often does. No peas, prepared mustard, mango chutney, chili jam, tofu, asparagus...NOTHING there that does not belong. Bravo Marco! You have proven that there is at least ONE British Chef who does not "run off the rails" when preparing a classic Italian dish.
you play dumb on purpose? He made bolognese in previous video, same as you make it one day, and next day you use small portion of that batch for your one portion dinner, thats what he ment and you know it . . .
@@vlastimilvavrla449 No. Not playing dumb. 10 minutes recipe almost start to finish? That' s a challenge. Clearly, the bolognese takes hours to cook day before. I don't take issue with what he did; just that it's not a start-to-finish recipe in 10 minutes. Even a pasta puttanesca dish takes 15 minutes just to get the water boiling for the pasta, cook the pasta, then finish the pasta in the sauce.
Such BS.... how to cook 8 minute pasta in 8 minutes, but make sure your hour of cooking beef ragu was done before hand..... Then add the ragu.... Tadaaaa! Pasta in less than ten minutes.... Oh, and meat sauce that took MUCH longer added
Marco is the definition of intelligence. A life lived to the full. A life that he often looks upon and can pass that knowledge on to us stressed younger people to prep in advance. Then the magic is at your fingertips in minutes. Truly a wonderful Mr Miagi. Xxx
So this is a 10-minute dinner which requires making an entire bolognese sauce in advance hahahaha
A real bolognese takes 3-5hr to make. If you're going to make one you make a large batch and have available for later.
Then you shall buy Ragu like the rest of the peasants and be happy settling for less 🧐 gentlemen pull out the slow cooker and get to cheffing
You can make a large batch and freeze it for eternity, pop the ragu out when you need to cook it
😂😂
Or you could make it from ready made sauce from a jar, it's your choice
Turns out preparing dinner is very quick when you cook the entire meal in advance 👍

A video on how to boil pasta. Sensational
Currently eating dinosaur nuggets
Loves the sound of his own voice
And contributed to society with his cooking unlike this random knob on the internet
This is like Gordon's high quality rum raisin ice cream:
1. Step: soak some raisins in rum
2. Step: mix them with some high-quality vanilla ice cream
I mean the pasta isnt the part i needed help with......
That’s not bolognese sauce, it’s an entire case of knorr flavor pots mixed with a bit of ground beef.
Damn dude literally made spaghetti w sauce
I only needed to go into work for 10 minutes today because I actually did all of the hours I was going to work today, yesterday. It's simple when you know how 😂
I make a batch of bolognese once a month or so in the slow cooker then freeze. Have enough for 6 or 7 meals.
Yep, definitely the way to do it. Have a bolognese night once a week.
We need more marco
He could make anything taste amazing
So, leftovers with fresh noodles, got it! Doing the lords work, thanks!
But, then again, he did have an Italian mother!
Nice Meal, Mr White.
That ragu is 99.1% pure.
Why bother even showing the last 10 mins with this logic? Why not just have everything cooked and ready to plate and call it a 30 second meal?
I've always told people you don't have to put oil in your pasta water, it just runs right off. Instead like he's doing toss the pasta in the sauce as quickly as you can and that will prevent the pasta from sticking.
Adding pasta to bolognaise!!! Omg my mind is blown !!!
It only takes ten minutes, if you've already cooked it.
You forgot the Knorr Stock Pot
Cook it in 8 minutes..ready in 7 minutes..prep ragu in 5 minutes..drain for 2 minutes..season for 4 minutes..ready in 10 minutes...eat in 1 minute..shit it out after 40 minutes..watch tv for 30 minutes..call bolagnese three different ways in 1 minute
How many Knorr stockpots?
Your choice.
“No need for olive oil”? This really marco?
That said, I did have an Italian mother.
*Dumps half a bottle of olive oil into the water*
Brave in a white tee 🫣
"No need for olive oil." Because that's what Jamie Oliver would do.
I made this recipe today it was really good
MPW getting more cooking in these comments than he did in the video 😂
Funnily enough just made Bolognese for about 10 meals, cheap, simple and amazing!
Master
“No need for olive oil”
Well THAT’S a first
Had the pleasure of meeting Marco about ten years back. Lovely guy and top chef 👍🏼
When you ommit Marco's silences, you downplay his intensity
Add two ingredients together… 9 minutes later you have a meal!!! What the hell have I been doing all my life.
Wtf.....I forgot to make my Bolognese 6 hours in advance for this 10 min recipe
I can make this in less than 10secs. Have the pasta and sauce ready, then just stir together and plate 😂.
I used 5 knor stock pots, some people like 4, their choice but I like 5
Just pop in your Ragu 😂😂😂
I see we are cutting out the minimum hour of ragu making. Looked good though.
Prep in advance… 3 hour bolognaise 😂
Where’s the knorr stockpot ?
Is this Knorr approved?
Is this really a recipe for how to reheat ragu and boil pasta? 😂😂
Bolognese should cook for at least an hour. 😂
Where did he buy the ragu from tho?
It's Marco it's not Christmas yet
Why have you got my grans pants on your head?
I prefer using chips and dog food because it's my choice.
Delicious 😋
For home cooks who dont have the time and are complaining about the ragu taking time, you can substitute the ragu with knorr stock pot
So he made the sauce in advanced which does take a couple of hours to get a nice richness out of it....

Salt over the plated pasta? What a joke 🥺
A bit stingy on the old sauce there.
Cooking is easy ….

Marco has a slave prepare the ingredients for him in advance which means dinner becomes very easy
How can I possibly make a ragu in under 10 minutes? I admire Chef Marco to bits but this is too much.

Bit stingy on the protein
😂😂😂
Not enough meat. It’s just pasta. No bueno.

Learn how to pronounce it properly! A ragu takes a long time to cook properly.
This guy makes the absolute worst cooking videos
Boring
🤢
Seasoning on pasta?
Spot the mince
Richard Harris?
😅😅😅😅😅 tag… liatelli hard to take seriously. Ok for Brits I guess
Sometimes I think Marco thinks his voice gives him the impression of intelligence but it does not
Well I would remark the 3 Michelin stars he won at 33 gives him the impression of intelligence… he s making the world a better place.
When you have reached his level you may debate. He is simply a calm tutor.
