The Black Keys are at the top of my concert wishlist
I'd recommend going. I saw them for the first time in May and it was sooo good. Really wish I'd got to see them sooner and I can't wait for the next opportunity to be able to see them live

what gear did you use for filming? any special audio stuff? microphones? if just a phone or camera, which i bet thats all you had inside, amazing and good recording job. perfect levels, no clipping, great resolution.
any tips for good sound when standing in the pit area?
I am using minimal gear that I sneak in.
Occasionally a girlfriend will have a handbag inside where I can stash another camera or sound recorder. I never depend on this stash as many clubs denied entry with handbags.
a lot of club gigs do a body search, pat- down, and female purse inspection on enrty. Many clubs have policies about recording performances without permission. sometimes getting any footage is problematic and challenging.
this summer i will be using a monopod (single legged) camera stand, holding a decent dslr camera with a fancy lens.
for audio i will ask for soundboard out for a perfect stream. if denied access, a portable tascam-type dual-mic digital recorder placed strategically for balanced audio and a rode attachment mic should give decent results.
I welcome any live audio recording advice. please dont be shy to make valuable suggestions.

everyone knew they weren't leaving without playing lonely boy, one of their 3 major hits.
They played Howling for you, Tighten up, and several other well performing charting tunes.
Lonely boy was the only missing piece, they made the audience crave and long for it, a technique employed to develop intense desire, a deep appreciation and massive satisfaction when delivering the much desired goods. What a feeling, that payoff, females are known to grab men and scream until his ears pop!
sometimes playing the hit song is included in the gig contract! bands hate that, but the hit song is quite literally the currency they trade with moving forward from there. a harsh but true reality!
I hope bands mature and learn to embrace the love received, no matter how conditional!

Weight of love not The Same without the old Bassist.. just doesn't seem like they were up for this show..
Noticed that, sporadic tempo too. Yes they missed the bass player. Dan just goes with it... Other songs weren't as bad, better on the uptempo stuff,1/8th notes....
Yeah and dan really cut short and simplified the solos of Weight of Love. It wasn’t as emotional as it was
