I agree! It’s very fulfilling task and the car runs great now! I oiled the advance mechanism the other week and cleaned all contact points and changed the ignition amplifier. I also changed the fuel regulators this time round!

I just did this over the Winter on my '89 replacing the wires, rotors and cap while I was in there- what a hateful but fulfilling task

@@HJRgarage I did a manual conversion on a v12 Xjs back in 2009, it was good, but very expensive now and the auto suits the car to be honest
