This was an exceptional video, one of the best on champagne that I have seen. I have been a huge fan of Piper-Heidsieck Brut for parties or festive occasions for many years, and of Taittinger Champagne Blanc de Blancs Comtes de Champagne any time I feel like sharing some quality bubbly with family. Keep up the great work, I liked and subscribed.
I've only recently discovered your channel as I got into champagne in December 2022 (am more of a whisky guy). I love your channel and will definitely explore more. Best wishes from Poland and a happy 2023!
Great suggestions! Of late I have been favoring Billecart-Salmon. For everyday consumption the Brut Reserve and Brut Nature provide solid value just a step up from the Tattinger Brut la Francaise. For celebrations, it's hard to beat the value of the Blan de Blanc and of course the vintage selection is outstanding. Great video!
Hi Agness, best wishes for the New Year, lets hope its a good one for all. I do like a glass of Champagne, my 'go to' producers are Billecart-Salmon and Pol Roger together with the smaller and lesser known Tarlant (first met them in the late 1980's) and Launois (you must visit his museum - amazing). Cheers
You have great champagnes in Your “go to” list. Tarlant is also in my portfolio, great house. I don’t know Launois, will look for their Champagnes to taste. And whenever I am Champagne will try to remember to visit them. Cheers and Happy New Year! 🥂🍾✨
Best wishes to you 24/7 along the 2023 !!! I enjoy your videos very much, thanks for your work. Only because someone gave me a great birthday present, I will be enjoying a bottle of Salon 2012 for New Year's Eve, otherwise, I probably will have a nice Grande Dame, cheers 🥂
Hello, and best wishes for the upcoming new year! Was interesting to hear about blends in some of the featured Champaigns! Some of my favorite red wines are blends. I would be interested to learn more about wine blends, as contrasted with varietals, although I understand some wines labeled as varietals are actually blended! Anyway, cheers for the New Year!!
Hi. :) Thank You for the suggestion. Yes, I do make videos about single grape varieties, but have never made one about the blends and why they are made. I will keep that in mind. Cheers! ✨🥂🍾
Nice Selection, I'm going to try Larmandier and Bouchard if I can find it ! As we tend to open lots of bottle of champagne every year and for many occasions, I buy from a small estate called Paul Prioux, the price for quality ratio is perfect when you host large parties (less than 20 EUR), more expensive but still reasonable, try Guy Charlemagne. For more special occasion, I adore Jacquesson, Billecart Rosé or Laherte, as Alternative to Champagne, I buy sparkings in Alsace from Albert Mann and From Tissot in the Jura.
Hi. :)) Thank You! 🙏🏻 Yes, I have tried Salon, one of the best Champagnes I have had. However, the latest price increase is crazy and I am not so sure I can afford it anymore. And if I could, I cannot get it. 🥹 I asked my local importer, and he said that it is highly allocated and all sold out. 🤷♀️
For my zoom wine group. I drank a bottle of Champagne Aubry. The house is a grower that uses all seven grapes permitted. I loved it an want to get a few more.
Your zoom wine group sounds great! I see more and more producers experimenting with less known grapes of Champagne. And the wines are great! 🍾🥂 Cheers and Happy New Year!
I went with the Charles Heidsieck for my shift drink after 12 hours on Christmas day. Bright, crisp, slight green apple, with the minimum yeast. Beautiful expression of a typical large house.
Charles Heidsieck probably is one of the greatest grand marques. It was an amazing choice, I love it. 🍾🥂 If it would be more available in my market I would be enjoying it much more. 💪
I think Lanson is known to block mlf, so expect fresh and zesty style. 😉 Also, I remember once reading that previous owner was laughing, that he drinks all the best Champagnes himself and what he cannot drink, that he sends to sales. 😅😂 I think it only shows passion for Champagne! 🍾 Cheers and happy new year! 🥂
how do you not have more viewers? this is quality work!
Hahaha, thank You. 🙏🏻 I’ll take it as a compliment! 😅

Cedric’s Blanc des Noirs is superb
It is! 🥂

Thank You for Your comment. Billecart-Salmon is a great Champagne, and I especially like their Rose as well.
Cheers and happy new year! ✨🍾🥂

Laherte is one of my favourite growers and offers good value. And I actually have a video about Tissot Cremant, so we have similar taste in wines! 🥂🍾✨
Another great video. Have you tried Salon Champagne? I'm curious to get your thoughts.

@@NoSediment One of my favorite big house Champagnes. I want to try the Blanc de Blancs.
ON POINT
Thank You’ 🥂
Hi, Agnes.
I bought two bottles of lanson. I never drank this champagne. I hope to be surprised
