Edit: I'm actually wrong about the scarecrows and must have misread one of the users' quotes in the Discord and took it as fact. According to one of the actual dev messages in the discord when asked about scarecrow radius: "it’s about 10x10 tiles. Scarecrows will be reworked to have a visible range and their logic is getting a rework too!"
Great vid. I picked this up day 1 because the vibe/story piqued my interest and i enjoyed the demo last summer. But I'm also going to wait a bit before really diving in so they can fix the few minor gripes. Glad to see the devs are very reactive and actively working on hotfixes.
Thank you for this review!! I definitely want to get back into playing this. I stopped around Day 11, I wonder when you find out more about the sister! 😮
I'm SO glad you mentioned the actual radius of the scarecrows! All the reviews I've seen mentioned people not being able to tell, but nobody has clarified it as far as I've seen!

You get a sword (friday guy) and a better ranged weapon from one of the bundles...then a fun hammer from another plus fiona. PS: i love it so much, more than I actually expected.
There's a FRIDAY GUY?? Oh man, I'm going to have to find him because that wooden club is BRUTAL. Thanks airyspaw! Yes, this game's AMAZING! I couldn't put it down (except when I had to because of the saving and inventory erasing issue >_< )
@@ramenking1 Luckily that issue escaped me. In the deep forest, Friday guy. Keep going to the mines on good luck days. I got 5 levels a day and it's done now, just collecting the items I need. You get some fun stuff at the end of each biome.

Yeah! Not a bad idea to wait! Some of the current bugs are a bit scary lol

Thanks for watching! I wanna know more too! Like why was she missing in the first place? What IS Everholm? Why's our memory gone!? So many questions!
