Ain't no way devriji starts for inter, basto is not a physical player and it's him not pavard who sprays the ball from the back ,hakan placed cdm so he has just as much defensive duties as barrella and lautoro struggle when lukaku left ?? He scored 28 goals in all comps that season and 27 this season how has he been struggling??

De Vrij started in 6 out of 8 matches for Inter in the Champions League last season, including both knockout fixtures against Atletico Madrid, showing his importance to the team.
Bastoni is the tallest of the 3 centre-backs mentioned at 1.9m, with Pavard at 1.86 and De Vrij at 1.89m. He is also the youngest of the 3, so theoretically, the most physically-inclined with the most room for growth.
Regarding the midfielders, it was stated that all 3 are interchangeable because of their great discipline and understanding of their own roles as well as each others'.
And finally as for Lautaro, those 28 goals were scored in 57 appearances, while last season he scored 27 goals in 44 appearances. More goals in less time with a reliable strike partner. Meaning the team had become a little too reliant on him upfront to get the final product for them and he needed some support. That was why they brought in Marcus Thuram and the two combined well in their debut season with loads of promise for the future.
All in all, the future looks very bright for Inter and they seem to be very intent on proving how dominant they are with a very well-balanced and exciting team!
