If too many rooms are red, or the paranormal activity meter in the mansion gets too high, you'll have 3 minutes to stabilize them, or the dimension will collapse on itself! Act fast, and use those portals to get around quicker!
Definitely the most anxiety inducing song in Luigi’s mansion 2, I genuinely panicked and died to the gobber in the jungle exhibit and had to farm a crap ton of money for the super poltergust to lower my chances of death

Despite how repetitive this song is, just making it play faster… and faster… and FASTER as king boo racks up the pressure… sometimes simplicity is best, and this track is proof of that.
I once played this at a Test (almost my entire class plays luigis mansion 2). When i hit play everyone froze in panic. Thats how traumatising this level is.

It was the first level I actually died on during my first playthrough (the intensity of the music made me rush and make some fatal mistakes lol). I also remember on my second playthrough, when I happened to make that gramophone play in I think the first mansion, and was met with the first part of this melody.
(Edit- Nvm I see people playing and getting the timer. They definitely made it slightly more forgiving though.) I don’t know if I’m just too good at the game but Paranormal Chaos is so much easier in the remake. I could walk the entire mission and the timer wouldn’t show up… the timer still exists but you have to basically be twiddling your thumbs for it to appear. I’m actually really sad about that. The anxiety of it is what made paranormal chaos well.. paranormal chaos :(
My father didn't want to buy me the 3ds cause of the pixel graphics he tried to install it in pc but it was too slow so we waited till 2024 then I finally got it in HD graphics in switch

Anyone else get super stressed in this level? When I first got this game I was actually super worried about the dimension collapsing in on its self.
Its actually reaaallly hard to lose this. I had to wait for 3 minutes to see what would happen.

They really know how to make top tier bangers for really stressful situations. This and Fly Octo Fly ~ Ebb & Flow are so good

that was exactly how I beat it on my second run, and once i got the upgrade, I beat it in a few attempts.
I legitimately didn’t know about the super Poltergust and then spent a week attempting to clear this level. At least I can flex.
Ima be honest with yall i did a no upgrades challenge and manage to beat thw level in around 3 attempts

this is my all time favourite stage. instead of the normal time trails its one big test of skill and speed.
