I've got an '86 s10 blazer with the 2.8. I can't read codes on it because the check engine light doesn't work. Tried replacing the bulb and still nothing. Any ideas?
So what did you end up doing , I have the same code as you did , should I change the o2 sensor , I was only able to find one and it was the upstream one? Thank you !
Tried to do this for days. On my 94 GMC Sierra the engine light comes on and simply stays on. No flashing whatsoever. I drove my Truck to a shop to repair all the wiring and get it checked because I swapped my US Cluster for a canadian one with kph. When I connected the Cluster and turned the key only a few warning Lights come on. Also only one turn Signal light on the cluster is working. Seems like I got many electrical problems 😭
Hey have you ever had any issues with the check engine light not turning on when you turn the ignition on without starting the engine I just bought a new computer for my 94 Chevy Blazer Silverado suburban and put it in. The check engine light came on and then it went off it's brand-new and programmed to my VIN the computer that is. Any help is greatly appreciated
@Isaiais Puente it was the egr valve. Someone put a screw in the vacuum hose and a little check ball. I just replaced the hose and hooked it back up to the egr. It works as it should now

no ,but maybe it takes a little time to adjust itself, maybe after driving and starting a couple times it will fix itself
I cant get it to start. It just wants to crank. Pcm and chip are new and programmed to my vin

SES alight is on and won’t turn off after cycling key on my 93 c1500 what do I do?
I tried this but my car start making like a fan like noise didn’t know if it was diagnosing or something bad was happening so I turned it off
there are a lot more than 51 codes, 91 in all
My code only comes up when the vehicle is at 100+ km an hr. So not sure what to think of it lol 😅

I got a obs 2 to obd1 adapter and it flickers when my fuel pump clicks and will come on for a second after I kill my engine
Any idea?
Mine did the same thing with adapter
