    But why didn't you considered Mx, My, Mz , Fx and Fy from ETABS result and only took Axial Force Fz during footing design using excel ?

      Because we need only initial sizes and depth of footing to provide in SAFE , and if you directly do modelling in safe then you will stuck in the loop of doing analysis and multiple iterations , in the big project this will eat your huge time. You can create your own excel sheet but if you do this in excel sheet then why you need the software. And in the Eccentric , Combined & Raft foundations you can not do by using Excel sheet , And in the bigger project you have to go for non linear analysis and design otherwise you may end up with heavy design or under design. And the above forces which you have mentioned, most of the time they will not govern in the smaller structures but still you need to for design purpose that why you need software .
