thank you very much i have question you ((the reinforcmebt of the slab consist of teo layer and each layer it has two direction (( i didn't under stand if the A and B refere to the direction of the reinforecement in the same layer or A for top and B for bottom )) ?

Bhai, SAFE mye Pile Cap aur Piles ka Foundation aur uska rebar ka detailling bhi bolna na ! Aap tho bohaut bhadiya explain karrahye hye !
how can I do provided reinforcement more than the required as in some cases it refers as under not over.
dont we need to provide rebar for the strip beams ?
Hi, Good day! I'm designing mat foundations, and I'm getting 48.96mm settlement due to DL + LL + EQ (linear add - service normal). The allowable settlement for mat foundation is 50mm. It is only almost 1mm difference. Should I add piles on my mat foundation or should I change combination type and design selection on load combination data.

It is only 1 mm difference so it is ok for settlement but better to check other criteria like punching shear, soil pressure etc..

By the way, some tutorials did not recommend deformation/settlement check at SAFE. Because it is not based on consolidation. It can be ignore or it should be check at SAFE?

you can either increase depth or provide strap beam
@@CivilEngineeringGlobehow increase in depth can helpful ..... If I want a minimum area of footing to resist uplift pressure of soil, how can you say that the depth of footing will helps to resist this. Depth is helpful for shear strength. Correct me if I am wrong.
@@katilnikki7104 increase in depth is the ultimate option left in design ..depth is related to all kind of strength not only shear strength
