Halo 5 - All Weapon Reload Animations in 2 Minutes

- While playing around with the custom game settings in Halo 5, i noticed that the reload animations look much better and detailed after lowering the reload speed a bit, so i decided to throw this quick and short video just for the hell of it.
Weapon reloads are set at 70-80% of normal speed and i also included idle animations for energy-based weapons so they wouldn't be left out.

They don't reload (most of them anyways), they just overheat so reloads aren't needed. If anything, Chief is just poking at them for fun.

It could be nice to get a promethean weapon first pickup animations video, when whole gun is assembling itself
In halo 4 in the mcc, if you loaded the game up for the first time in the day you could get all the first time pick up Animations even if you got them earlier

I actually considered it for a while but they were too loud and felt out of place in a video with a more "quiet" or "peaceful" vibe like this one.

It gave us that mysterious vibe leading to the grand reveal that Cortana was an enemy in the end due to the logic plague changing her into a dictator of the Forerunner Domain and all of the Colonies where life thrives. Spartan Locke was well developed into a decent badass throughout the game. Playing as him was very fun. Him and Fireteam Osiris was amazing at what they did. Blue Team did amazing as well. So in all honesty, my thoughts on the game were phenomenal. If you dont like my decision, then keep your reply to yourself. No need for arguing here.

These feel so much more natural and relaxed, almost like you were just at a target range, rather than leveraging super reflexes to beat an enemy in a hectic combat scenario.
Half of them were idol animations because they ran on a battery rather than ammunition.
I think Halo 5 will always be remembered as having the best Arsenal of Weapons in terms of Sci Fi quantity.
343 did a nice job with the weapons . Not the best but sure a good one , they are underappreciated and it's obvious , just because they started on the wrong foot doesn't mean they are bad

I mean I would have liked that they remained loyal to some designs like ok you wanna change the shotgun a bit but wtf did you did to it now it looks like you stole it from modern warfare, plus there was some rifles that bungie left cool asf as an oportunity for 343 to exploit it, like the plasma rifle, but instead of that they just took the mechanics and concept of it and just make another whole crap to basically rebrand it as theirs, I mean, I do love some designs that were nice, like the new assault rifle, plasma gun and the concept of a heavy gun, but some are unnecesarily changed of what was before them.

I actually wonder how does someone carry so many? Do they condense down or do they stay the same size? How would you load the rockets in? How come some marine can carry so much ammo and not be as slow as a snail? Why wouldn’t you trade that weight for armor? Etc.
@@douglaswetak9686 in the lore I think marines would have someone with them carrying most of the ammo. The newer rocket launcher fixes this issue.

What I like about halo is that they actually try to rationalize the design of each gun to make them look believable.

While Halo 5's sound design isn't nearly as memorable/iconic as previous games, it isn't bad and really underappreciated imo. The sounds are super crisp and satisfying, even though they're not very unique.

The Halo 1 and 2 UNSC gun aesthetics were much better because the designs look very separate from reality. No picatinny rails, no excessive amount of plastic stuff everywhere; just these simple and elegant pieces of space-aged guns.
Idk how to explain it but I really did like the metal like sounds of the weapons and how the spartan armor sounded whenever you move in some way
