@@alexhefnerstvmovievault i think more subtle is the fact that she refers to him by his Wakandan name/title when they cool but when she feels she betrayed them she calls him James. When he does right and hands Zemo over she calls him white wolf again
Bucky catching that pipe that Karlie threw like a spear is a call back to him saying he always knows his surroundings. Which in itself calls back to Bucky being able to catch the Shield when Steve threw it in a Winter Soldier. And the mask that Sharon wears that makes her look like a man. Is the same mass that Natasha wore in Winter Soldier when she pretended to be one of the council. It's important cuz it does come up again in the future
Bucky is the only character i ever connected with in the MCU. I rarely connect to fictional characters. But his story and just Sebastian Stan's acting made me connect to Bucky emotionally. Seeing him go through all that and finally find a happy place gave me so much joy!
Great reaction buddy! This show was really good and I didn't really appreciate how necessary it was until the end. But in hindsight, all of the characters in-universe were mourning Steve, and that mimicked our mourning as fans, and so going straight from Steve to Sam without addressing that grieving wouldn't have worked. By seeing Sam and Bucky go through their emotions and see Walker (scrub cap) fail at the task, we go through all those emotions as well so that we end up in episode six with Sam flying in the window showing off his new Captain America suit yelling "Yeah buddy!" and everyone in and out of universe is ready for a Captain America that isn't Steve. In the comics, Bucky also took a turn as Captain America, but to borrow a phrase from Black Widow, MCU Bucky has "too much red in his ledger" and he knows it and is not interested. It's HEAVILY implied at the end of Endgame that Steve and Bucky had that conversation BEFORE Steve left to return the stones, and that Bucky agreed that Sam was the right person. It's very subtle, but if you watch that scene over again, Steve says bye to Bucky, but doesn't say bye to anybody else, implying they both knew he wasn't coming back, and Bucky gives a subtle nod to Sam and tells him to go over to the bench where old Steve is. I think that whole scene has even more weight behind it after the events of this series. Also, Val is obviously recruiting her own team, and you'll see her again. That team is the Thunderbolts, and that movie is coming out in 2024. There isn't going to be a season 2, but these characters WILL show up again in the next Captain America film, Captain America: New World Order (coming 2024) that will pick up where this leaves off. Eli Bradley (Isiah's grandson) is likely going to show up again, there's a theme of introducing important teenage relatives and proteges that isn't by accident. I'm also really interested to see what they do with Sharon Carter - she had stood up to Hydra when we first met her so to go from that to Shadow Broker is quite the change for her that begs for an explanation. Like you said, I also really like how there are these more empathetic villains that have a decent point even if they are going about it all wrong. I also feel the whole recovery "after Thanos' blip" hits different post-pandemic which is an interesting coincidence. Onwards to Loki, and warning: your gooch isn't prepared! Cheers
I have to agree on Sharon going into power broker mode deosn't make sense. And I think the higher ups have taken note of how much people are dissatisfied with her character. I've read somewhere that they are scaling her character back from where she is now because so many people were confused and upset at how far she has fallen.
@@Iceman-135 I mean it was explained that she felt betrayed after being exiled from the United States. All the Avengers essentially forgot about her. I do think that they should've showed more of that progression (or regression?), but maybe we'll see that in a separate project with her. I think Marvel approached her character the wrong way. I think her as the Power Broker would've been okay if she was more of an anti-hero, someone who's willing to help the "good side" but no longer cares about the boundaries that limit what we consider good in the MCU. I think this character was just destined to not do well considering how she was portrayed in Civil War. idk
I've often wondered if her becoming the power broker was based on a resentment of Steve. The last time we see her in the films, he leaves her with a goodbye kiss. Then endgame, we all see he lives the life he always wanted with peggy, but in sharrons eyes, she possibly felt that that kiss only meant he was kissing a Carter, and taking a back seat to aunt Peggy didn't sit well with her
The thing about Walker is that we're really meant to hate him. it's why you feel such strong hate to him in the beginning - he played the part well. but you are also able to empathize with him quite a bit, and he played the character incredibly well from start to finish. He's a complicated character in the comics, sometimes hero, sometimes villain, etc. this show was a great intro for him and I'm excited to see more in the future.
"the serum enhances that is inside, Good becomes great, Bad becomes worse" -Abraham Erskine- Aka Dr. Erskine. From captain America the first avenger (im very late to this but i just thought this was the perfect time to drop this quote. Also this is a small fragment is the actual quote from the movie but oh well idc still a damn good quote)
I love Marvel and every cast they hire and storyline and everything is just amazing. But Bucky, with his storyline, acting and just look will always remain in my heart as the number one character. Sebastian Stan and his acting skills is on another level. He deserves the biggest respect and love for it!
My favourite scene (besides seeing Sam wield the shield in his suit ) is the court scene with walker. “I only ever did what you asked of me, and I did it WELL” Wyatt Russell crushed it in his performance
In the comics, Torres actually became The Falcon when Sam was Captain America. Also, someone on TH-cam actually made a working Captain America shield. The Wakandan's gave Sam some cool vibranium wings.
The serum turns good into great, bad into evil. It's like resurrection in a sense. If you have pain and anger in your heart that will be what is amplified like Walker. This is why Steve Roger's was the best. His relentless humility and willing to do what's right whether it benefits him or not.
The relief and sorrow I felt for Bucky the first time I watched him try to resist the activation phrases and then realise that he's okay was unparalleled🥺 The "Bast damn you, James" comment made by Ayo is with reference to Bast, the Panther goddess that majority of the Wakandans worship... sort of like the "God damn you" that people would say now And Alex's insults are always so entertaining!!🤣
Once you know that John Walker is played by Kurt Russell’s son, Wyatt Russell, it’s hard to unsee the resemblance. Plus that they’re both in the MCU is pretty awesome.
Dude, that speech by Sam at the end…that was the best part of this show. I had chills too, and I was crying by the time he finished talking. Such a perfect delivery on the actor’s part, too. I was kind of so-so about the show as a whole, but to me that speech by itself made the entire thing worth it.
Hey Alex, I just wanted to say don't ever change how you react to the movies and TV shows that you're watching. Your humor in the midst of Falcon and the Winter Soldier made the viewing experience so much more fun. The "Bird is the Word" bit was so unexpected and it cut through the tension of the episode perfectly. You do such a great job on these reactions. Peace ! !
This show was just so freaking good! Alone those moments Bucky got! the last episode! sergeant barnes! The thank you, superhero landing, the catching without even using his vibranium arm, the moment he said cap to sam. I just loved everything about it!
Your reactions continue to be fire! I CANNOT WAIT for you to see Loki! I think you're going to be blown away. BTW, bonus points for referencing Napoleon Dynamite, LOL.
I like how karli and walker serve as foils. Both of them were well-intentioned and then pushed to the point where they felt that the super solider serum was the only way. The serum amplified their flaws to make them take more extreme measures, eventually destroying their original goals
Sam will return, along with Isaiah Bradley and Joaquin Torres, in his own Captain America film titled New World Order coming to theaters May 2024. Bucky, John, and Valentina will all return in a new movie called The Thunderbolts coming to theaters July 2024. More on that later. In the meantime, you’ve been burdened with the glorious purpose of watching Loki star in his own sci-fi crime thriller.
Just so you're aware (maybe you did see it but it wasn't in the episode), there was also a post-credit scene in episode 5. Nothing important really, just showed Walker building his new, janky shield. Gives a little more context for when he shows up in the finale.
Fun Fact. The guy that plays the new Captain America, his dad (real life of course) is the actor (Kurt Russell) that plays Ego from the Guardians of the Galaxy! He really looks like his dad. And he REALLY is good at making you hate the new Cap.
Sharon is Peggy’s niece. Hence the Agent Carter. Can’t wait to see your take on Loki. Tom Hiddleston is golden in everything I’ve seen him in. And is very intelligent and well spoken in interviews. Not sure if you ever watch such things (not as a reaction just on your own), but if you do, search up some of his interviews.
Yes! I really enjoyed this show when it came out!!! I’m also super excited cause every Marvel Monday that passes is a week closer to Loki and ShangChi :)
His speech at the end really is a good combination of what some critics call woke and patriotism at the same time. It really hits a couple notes for me and made the loss of Steve a bit smoother considering I think the shield is in good hands.
It reminds me of the speeches Steve always gave in 80s comics - if you told me it was copied from one of those comics, I'd believe you - which felt very appropriate for the more colorful MCU we have now
I loved this show and I hope you can catch up to "Hawkeye" by or around Christmas! It's a Christmas show really too! It's such a fun show. I loved it! I also LOVED Loki too!
“Hawkeye” is actually my favorite of the MCU shows (well, it’s tied with “Moon Knight”), and I don’t understand why it’s as underrated as it is! I can’t wait for Alex to get to that one.
I definitely agree with what you said about the show being more about character arcs, the Flag Smashers plot can get iffy at times, but the growth Sam, Bucky and Walker go through are probably why this is my favourite MCU Show. Hell, even Karli has moments where you go "okay, I get WHY she would fight this fight" and at the end as she dies, you see she's just an 18-19-year-old kid who went too far in hopes of giving those forgotten by the government a fighting chance. Sam coming to accept that he wasn't chosen by Steve to be just a black Cap but instead because he's someone who shares the ideals of what America and someone who defends it SHOULD be in a world where his blackness is seen as a disadvantage was so heartwarming. Sam has always been kind and compassionate as well as honest, HE just needed to accept that that's what Steve and later Bucky saw in him. Them giving Bucky, a character who has been in the pits for almost 10 years, and Sam, someone we barely knew from the movies, time to grow and come to care for one another was fun to watch...plus they have such a great dynamic
Walker is definetely one of the most complex characters out of the MCU until now. It's easy to see him just like another one of villain and i'm glad he didn't die or made him go full villain.
Yo Alex! Loving this series so much! After Loki and Black Widow, if you decide to watch “What If” as well, which I recommend, there was an episode that was cut from Season 1 but will be included with Season 2 next year. I won’t say what it is but there’s a point where you’ll say “hang on, when did this happen? Did I miss something?” And it’s referring to the delayed episode. I’ve seen multiple reactors get very confused at that part so hopefully this helps avoid some of that!
That last scene with Isaiah Bradley was incredible, his character and how the actor portrayed the emotion was a standout in the series for me. I really really hope that him and his grandson are seen again, I think his grandson could be the new partner of Sam Wilson’s Captain America like the howling commandos were for Steve Rogers, with Isaiah being a mentor figure to them both (I know Sam is an adult and a veteran and hero, but I like their interactions)
This is my personal favorite Marvel TV show. Bucky is my favorite character in the MCU, and all the character development in this show was really good.
And by the way This Sharon is Sharon Carter , Niece of Peggy Carter (Steve Rogers Girlfriend) . First came in Captain America:The Winter Soilder as Steve’s Neighbor, then in Captain America:Civil War , Steve kissed her after that she was in Run for stealing Captain’s shield and gone to Madripoor to Become Power Broker. And now she’s pardoned by Govt. Let’s see what happens next.
Every time John Walker says "i am Captain America" I'm reminded of one the best lines from Tywin Lannister in GOT : "A man that must say ' i am the king' is no true king". You don't know who he's trying to convince the most, the people around him, or himself.
Karli isn't dangerous because of how she looks, or even how strong she is. She's dangerous because her ideology is very self-serving and appeals to the worst, most self-indulgent parts, of human nature... and there are real people who legitimately believe SHE'S the hero of this series.
She had good intentions just a very extreme terrorist way of achieving her goal. But I mean that's why there's the famous saying "the road to hell is paved with good intentions"
The finale is such a beautiful episode, Sam officially becoming Captain America, Cap’s speech, Sam doing his part for Isaiah so no one forgets what he’s done, Bucky finally getting closure on anyone he hurt as the Winter Soldier, The Winter Soldier call backs to the finale as well as the rest of the series, finally getting to see who Walker will actually be as the U.S. Agent & Sharon Carter showing her true colors! I can’t wait to see you get confused as hell for Loki haha
Such a good show. I wish it had been 9 episodes but it flowed well at 6. I can't wait for Loki as I feel it is one of if not the most essential for the future phases of the MCU. Introduction to so many twists into the story and new characters we will be seeing again very soon!
Sam's a great new Captain America, & his new suit looks amazing 22:5923:0729:49, & I think the shield fits Bucky better tbh: * Sam already has his wings & gadgets so the shield feels less iconic w/ him * Bucky's arm compliments the shield - it feels out of place w/ Sam's wings * Bucky was closer to Steve & the shield means more to him * Sam's wings & gadgets (24:2529:01) already help him in hand-to-hand combat, Bucky only has his arm * Bucky is a super-soldier & can pull off more moves w/ the shield (like Steve) * The shield fits Bucky's fighting style better * Sam's wings already function as a shield (especially now they're vibranium) * The shield could've symbolised Bucky overcoming his programming & earning ppl's trust (25:41), etc.
I'll be honest, a lot of the time it seems like you watch things on a surface level, but hearing "You don't have the 'jump on a landmine' type of vibe" from you reminds me that you can lock in every now and then lol, great job connecting back to Captain America 1
in this MCU cap got superpowers, ~5 tons like other versions of cap, the one on Earth 616, aka the real cap is only peak human, but my point is, cap could use the shield the way he did in this MCU because of the super soldier serum which gave him enhanced speed, reflexes/reactions and as of MCU super strength, captain falcon is just a human
Actually Sam is now officialy Captain America. His friend to which he gave the wings (i forgot his name) will become the new Falcon like in the comics. The young lad with Isaiah will become Patriot from the comics as well, he is part from The Young Avengers. And Val is basically evil version of Nick Fury. She's assembling a team from anti-heroes called Thunderbolts. Marvel are officialy developing a movie for them. The team is formed by - Red Guardian, Yelena Belova (Nat's sister) , Taskmaster, Ghost from Ant-Man, Bucky, US Agent and Thunderbolt Ross aka Red Hulk. The only surprise is that Zemo is not part of it, cuz in the comics he's the leader. Also I loved the series and can't wait for you to watch the other projects! :)
Yea it's so weird Zemo isn't going to be in that (at least as far as we know). I mean Bucky being a part of that team is a little weird too. Not a fan of Taskmaster and Ghost either, both were terrible villains.
@@Maratonkata I'm speaking strictly on the MCU versions of the characters. What they did to Taskmaster is beyond disgraceful. Like I have no words for how bad this version is. And Ghost? She was boring as hell, her motivation was retarded, only semi redeeming quality was her phasing ability was pretty cool but that's it. She wasn't even a real villain. Like all she had to do was work with Hank and they could have gotten her help from jump.
In the comics, Torres does become the new Falcon after Sam takes up being Captain America. And maybe a member of the Young Avengers? Which if you've been watching closely, we've seen a few potential members already.
Sam and Bucky were just playing "catch" and Sam was training. One thing I like about this show and the Flag Smashers. Is that you kind of see how some of these extremist organizations could have not only gotten started but also grown to large levels. You see that the other flag Smashers are not really gelling with Karly's plans. But they keep going along and eventually the true goal gets lost and they don't even stop the question the brutality
When you talked about Walker not being a "jump on a grenade kinda guy" it's further illustrated when he lets Lemar (battlestar) take point when searching the building for Karli when, A. He has the shield, and B. He has just taken the super soldier serum. He should have taken the lead.
Oh yeah, I love everything about this show. The pacing was great, the overall plot was amazing, the characters and their arcs- also Marvel knows how to sprinkle in comedy without it taking away from the action. One of my favorite parts about this show was bringing Isiah Bradley to the light, I think it was a really great motivator and it made it so much more special to see Sam finally take the title Steve gave to him. Not just to live up to something a good friend saw in him but to be something more to the people he ultimately represents by being who he is in the public eye. I also appreciate the montage at the end. One of the best Marvel tv finales out of all the shows so far. I can’t wait for Captain America 4 coming in a year or two, Sam/ Anthony Mackie is going to continue to carry this new title in that movie. I’m hoping Bucky will be there as White Wolf but all that’s really known about it so far is the potential villain ( another Hulk character), so I’m super excited for that.
i really loved the commentary about a world that took care of people when the half the people were gone but not when they came back. The whole narrative of the underserved live's being improved by the blip. All of a sudden they got healthcare, housing, education. Then they were put on the street when people blipped back. It's very interesting considering i live in a country where every single person could easily have healthcare, education, and housing but our society choose not to make it happen. I so love the same and Bucky relationship. I also love that they show how bad ass the Dora Milaje are. Also that Sam and Bucky are laughing in the background most of the fight. Like i love that in a fight with gods and superheroes there are all these regular, no serum humans, like Natasha, Sam, the Dora Milaje, etc that are just part of the fight too.
To clarify, in the fight for the shield bucky and Sam were fighting defensively and trying to get the shield while John was freaking out and being super aggressive.
I was waiting for you to upload so I could eat dinner watching this, glad you uploaded cause I was ready to pass out. Also, my love for Sebastian stan aside, I think this show did a wonderful job in treading some sensitive topics but also showing us that cap made a good choice with passing the mantle onto falcon. P.s. I have been following you since you started this journey & I wait for Mondays to watch these with you, even though I have been in the fandom since 2012, your reactions are super fresh & I really enjoy them. I really hope you continue & please don't 'give up' on shows 🥺
Show was good, but the best thing about it was hearing curtis harding-on and on for the 1st time, instantly became my favorite song, best song to ever play over credits😎
The opening scene of this episode is what occurred some days before the end credit of Black Panther, where Bucky looked at peace, when Shuri came to get him from his tent. The opening scene of episode 4 is just soooo damn good. Sebastian Stan really did an amazing performance. Like everyone, I was shocked and in disbelief watching John smear someone's blood on the Captain America shield. However, after some days later, I had to revisit that episode. 1.Karli and her super powered group was plotting to murder John. 2. Had John not taken the serum, both he and Lemar would have ended up dead. 3. The guy he killed was yelling that it wasn't him that killed Lemar, but again, he was fine with plotting to help kill John, whom he thought was just a regular guy...knowing he could kill him easier with his super powers. It's wrong to kill, but how much sympathy did he deserve? 4. John has 2 medal of honors, because he was on the frontlines. More than once. Seeing the traumatic terrors and having to commit some of your own, to protect your fellow soldiers, leaves a permanent stain in your mind that you can never wash clean. Those horrors seep into your dna and become a part of you. Bucky has lived it 2 lifetimes over. Now add in the fact that the government is putting pressure on him to make them look good, especially after Zemo escaping on his watch...and by two men who are supposed to be on the same side as you. He tried a few times to build a bridge with them, and they flat out treated him cold. It was emotional for them that Steve was replaced, but that was on the government, not John's fault. Like Steve, John just wanted to do his job and get results done. Both Sam and Bucky are military men, who have seen the ugliness of war also. You'd figure they'd at least give some common ground respect for that, and not treat him like some kid straight out of Basic training, who just put on the suit. The government cared more about making themselves an obedient human weapon (since they couldn't control Steve) than about John's mental health. John and Lemar grew up together. They survived all their military tours together. And because he was protecting John, Lemar was murdered right in front of John. 5. The serum messes with your mind. If you are not right in the head, it will increase that side of you. John has major ptsd. Did you notice how he twitched a lot after taking the serum? Compile all those elements, and John was a powder keg ready to blow. 6. John is a Captain who is used to being in charge. But he needed to learn that the new position won't be as by the book as his military career. There are different ways to get cooperative results. Not everyone falls in line with what he does, even though he got a false security in the government having his back. To him...he's at war. Him killing that super powered soldier of Karli's, is no different than fighting a dangerous war criminal.
“We are having logistical and supply problems getting the same amount of food to twice the people after they Blipped back.” “You need to do better!” …. Best CAP-splaining speech of all time.
I love that small moment of Zemo actually showing respect to Steve. "Touche, but there has never been another Steve Rogers".

@@alexhefnerstvmovievault i think more subtle is the fact that she refers to him by his Wakandan name/title when they cool but when she feels she betrayed them she calls him James. When he does right and hands Zemo over she calls him white wolf again
the hurt on his face when he realises they had an arm disabling code ready for him was so real
Same here
He’s trash
He did a great job as Bucky! The writing was kinda cringy at times tho. Usually making falcon seem like an activist
@@cormaccorrigan9086 we're not talking about you big boy.
LETS GO!
Cheers
Thank you for the constant support, the love, the thoughtful comments, and for being you ❤
I have to agree on Sharon going into power broker mode deosn't make sense.
He's a complicated character in the comics, sometimes hero, sometimes villain, etc.
this show was a great intro for him and I'm excited to see more in the future.
it was good!
He deserves the biggest respect and love for it!
it's so good!
YASS
My favourite scene (besides seeing Sam wield the shield in his suit ) is the court scene with walker.
“I only ever did what you asked of me, and I did it WELL”
Wyatt Russell crushed it in his performance
In the comics, Torres actually became The Falcon when Sam was Captain America. Also, someone on TH-cam actually made a working Captain America shield. The Wakandan's gave Sam some cool vibranium wings.
The serum turns good into great, bad into evil. It's like resurrection in a sense. If you have pain and anger in your heart that will be what is amplified like Walker. This is why Steve Roger's was the best. His relentless humility and willing to do what's right whether it benefits him or not.
agreed Adam! ty!
The relief and sorrow I felt for Bucky the first time I watched him try to resist the activation phrases and then realise that he's okay was unparalleled🥺
The "Bast damn you, James" comment made by Ayo is with reference to Bast, the Panther goddess that majority of the Wakandans worship... sort of like the "God damn you" that people would say now
And Alex's insults are always so entertaining!!🤣
I know. I really felt for him.
Leads me to believe Bucky is a believer and follower of Bast’s religion, too.
@@Lurch685 Could be... but we'll see what Feige and the rest of the MCU has in store for us
i fucking started crying when she said the codes
THANK YOU!
SO excited to see your reactions to Loki!! I found it bewildering, insane in parts and so much damn fun! 😆
SO EXCITED KATHY!
Once you know that John Walker is played by Kurt Russell’s son, Wyatt Russell, it’s hard to unsee the resemblance. Plus that they’re both in the MCU is pretty awesome.
Especially in that courtroom scene🤯
He has Kurt Russell's features in Goldie Hawn's coloring
Dude, that speech by Sam at the end…that was the best part of this show. I had chills too, and I was crying by the time he finished talking. Such a perfect delivery on the actor’s part, too. I was kind of so-so about the show as a whole, but to me that speech by itself made the entire thing worth it.
it was so good!
Peace ! !
thank you so much Adama!
I lost it when Alex mimicked Karli’s whistle 🤣
haha
Sebastian Stan is so underrated! Great actor! I love the chemistry between Seb and Anthony you can tell they are really friends.
BTW, bonus points for referencing Napoleon Dynamite, LOL.
lokiiii
The fight between the 3 of them is definitely one of my favorite fights. Epic and full of symbolism.
Only thing I don't like is how depowered Loki is in his own show.
They don't show much mischief/trickery.
The show definitely does set up Kang
new movie!
Those shots and experimentation that Isaiah talked to Sam about, is a reference to the actual Tuskegee Experiment in real life.
Just so you're aware (maybe you did see it but it wasn't in the episode), there was also a post-credit scene in episode 5. Nothing important really, just showed Walker building his new, janky shield. Gives a little more context for when he shows up in the finale.
ty Aidan! Love you!
Fun Fact. The guy that plays the new Captain America, his dad (real life of course) is the actor (Kurt Russell) that plays Ego from the Guardians of the Galaxy! He really looks like his dad. And he REALLY is good at making you hate the new Cap.
I really think that he looks a lot like Kurt Russell but he has Goldie Hawn's coloring.
Holy crap I never knew that
That explains why he looks and sounds almost exactly like him.
Alex: I want a boat montage!
Show: here you go bro
haha
Sharon is Peggy’s niece. Hence the Agent Carter.
Can’t wait to see your take on Loki. Tom Hiddleston is golden in everything I’ve seen him in. And is very intelligent and well spoken in interviews. Not sure if you ever watch such things (not as a reaction just on your own), but if you do, search up some of his interviews.
LOKI is effing insane and soooooo fun. Can't wait for you to start that! I loved Falcon & Winter Soldier too. This was awesome.
very soon John

thanks for tuning in!
Yes! I really enjoyed this show when it came out!!! I’m also super excited cause every Marvel Monday that passes is a week closer to Loki and ShangChi :)
yep lets go!
It's funny... this is the only MCU movie or show where a character actually gets therapy, and it *works*.
His speech at the end really is a good combination of what some critics call woke and patriotism at the same time. It really hits a couple notes for me and made the loss of Steve a bit smoother considering I think the shield is in good hands.
It reminds me of the speeches Steve always gave in 80s comics - if you told me it was copied from one of those comics, I'd believe you - which felt very appropriate for the more colorful MCU we have now
100% a Cap speech.
I can’t wait for Alex to get to that one.
lots of shows!!!
The scene with the blood dripping off of the shield is one of my favorite images in the MCU
very cool!
Fun fact, the "new" Captain America is actually the real Starlord, meaning that irl his father Kurt Russel played Ego in the MCU.
very cool!
That statue scene made me cry, so fukin cool! So glad today was Monday, I needed a heart pick-me-up, thank you Alex!
Alex so happy to follow all of your reaction on all MCU movies and tv shows... Just keep continue until the last movies and tv shows...
yep exactly!
Great series . Bucky & Falcon have a great chemistry
I’ve seen multiple reactors get very confused at that part so hopefully this helps avoid some of that!
me too!
ok so i CAN'T WAIT a whole week for a new MCU related episode, if you can, do it each 4 days! u've been my favorite
Yeah, I can't wait till next Monday for Loki 😂😂😂😂
you are my fav Catty
Ayo said "Bast damn you, James." when she took Bucky's arm off.
Val is a major player in the coming series and movies... Don't forget about her 👀 Her role is incredibly important.
Let’s see what happens next.
let's see!
Can someone with that many freckles be terrifying???? Absolutely: each of their freckle is the soul of someone they killed
I love that Zemo honestly and earnestly believes the serum is bad. I'm a huge fan of stories with antagonists like that.
I enjoyed this…great channel!
When you said “I love Sharon” i was like - 🤦🏻♀️
🎖
Every time John Walker says "i am Captain America" I'm reminded of one the best lines from Tywin Lannister in GOT : "A man that must say ' i am the king' is no true king".
You don't know who he's trying to convince the most, the people around him, or himself.
Karli isn't dangerous because of how she looks, or even how strong she is. She's dangerous because her ideology is very self-serving and appeals to the worst, most self-indulgent parts, of human nature... and there are real people who legitimately believe SHE'S the hero of this series.
She was on the right path. Got frustrated when no one listened. That's how "villains" are made
She had good reasons, but terrible methods. That is what creates a tyrant
She had good intentions but she exacuted them wrong
@@ShakespeareChan Plenty of tyrants who lack good motives.
Introduction to so many twists into the story and new characters we will be seeing again very soon!
it's very good!
So glad you are watching the shows!! This show is amazing and you are gonna love Loki!!
lets goooo
Sam's a great new Captain America, & his new suit looks amazing 22:59 23:07 29:49, & I think the shield fits Bucky better tbh:
* Sam already has his wings & gadgets so the shield feels less iconic w/ him
* Bucky's arm compliments the shield - it feels out of place w/ Sam's wings
* Bucky was closer to Steve & the shield means more to him
* Sam's wings & gadgets (24:25 29:01) already help him in hand-to-hand combat, Bucky only has his arm
* Bucky is a super-soldier & can pull off more moves w/ the shield (like Steve)
* The shield fits Bucky's fighting style better
* Sam's wings already function as a shield (especially now they're vibranium)
* The shield could've symbolised Bucky overcoming his programming & earning ppl's trust (25:41), etc.
it's very cool Tiago!
Nice reaction! Forgot how good these early series were
thank you tina! it's very good!
This was entertaining to watch. 👍
I'll be honest, a lot of the time it seems like you watch things on a surface level, but hearing "You don't have the 'jump on a landmine' type of vibe" from you reminds me that you can lock in every now and then lol, great job connecting back to Captain America 1
in this MCU cap got superpowers, ~5 tons like other versions of cap, the one on Earth 616, aka the real cap is only peak human, but my point is, cap could use the shield the way he did in this MCU because of the super soldier serum which gave him enhanced speed, reflexes/reactions and as of MCU super strength, captain falcon is just a human
you the best!
Walker is easily my favorite character in the show. He's complex and dynamic, and I warmed up to him as the show progressed.
@@anthonyanderson9303 Taskmaster is iconic villain. Just done dirty in the movie, they will for sure fix him. Also Ghost is pretty dope.

Most loved thing about the show was, If you have to introduce yourself as Captain America, you're not Captain America
very true
He needs to face 2 avengers. Karli is the lesser threat
@@vlrginizer927 Consider the fact that a former Avenger _probably_ wouldn't kill his friend, whereas Karli absolutely would
Oh yeah, I love everything about this show. I’m hoping Bucky will be there as White Wolf but all that’s really known about it so far is the potential villain ( another Hulk character), so I’m super excited for that.
sam used to council veterans so hes the perfect person to help bucky during the shield throwing part.
The leader of the flag smashing group looked familiar to me until I realized she played the Enfys Nest leader in Solo.
i really loved the commentary about a world that took care of people when the half the people were gone but not when they came back. Like i love that in a fight with gods and superheroes there are all these regular, no serum humans, like Natasha, Sam, the Dora Milaje, etc that are just part of the fight too.
very interesting right!
To clarify, in the fight for the shield bucky and Sam were fighting defensively and trying to get the shield while John was freaking out and being super aggressive.
gotchu ty!

One thing I’m grateful for is that they didn’t make Isaiah someone who was regressed mentally, like he was in the comics.
Hitting the like just for “bird is the word” bahaha 🤣 😂🎉
John Walker is such a diverse character in terms of morality and choices, and is perfectly cast.
I don't know why, but I love it when Bucky roars! 26:00
“We are having logistical and supply problems getting the same amount of food to twice the people after they Blipped back.”
