This video was recorded on the 16th November 2023, if you look at my previous upload before this one, (th-cam.com/video/mmuYYxj5NUA/w-d-xo.html) which was recorded more recently on the 6th december 2023 and uploaded on the same day, you'll see that i now have strap protectors since asking for them.
Evidence of video files geolocation time and date can be found in this unlisted short. th-cam.com/users/shortsgMWWohUo22o?si=D4Bwhmdv4GqDYK2f
You’re right though, it isn’t ideal which is why I doubled up on everything just in case one did break, and made sure I had protectors for the next time ☺️

That house builder is known for not putting the roads in first - looks like you were delivering to the subbie groundworker. No wheel wash and delivery route signs which is typical even though the Council asks for them! No tool box talk either. Some sites now have to put inflatable bags around the trailer being unloaded in case anyone falls off!

1.2t , not bad then - once dragged one out of a local pond ( kids had rolled it down from a building site and the houses were built and it was abandoned so i was having it lol ) with my Skoda Favorit 1.3 estate car . Put a bar in a hole and used a strap to the tow bar to move it up the bank a bit at a time , chocking it and swapping the bar to the next hole around . Cut it in half with a stihl saw to make 2 arches and trailered them into the local woods with a 1972 Lawnbug ride on mower ( still have it today cos it's built like a tank ) . Slid them down into the ditch ( more of a huff and puff drag really ) side by side and covered in a dry concrete mix to make a bridge for people out walking . Was there for 15 year's till the dicks in landrovers started rampaging through the woods and destroyed it cos they wanted a muddy ditch crossing to drive through ?. ...

Luke: A small suggestion: there's no need to spend money EVERY SINGLE TIME your working gloves get wet. Buy some disposal gloves or medical gloves and wear that under your working gloves. So put the disposal/medical gloves on first, then your working gloves. That way, if they do get wet, your hands won't (besides sweat, can't prevent that) nor dirty.

For how many straps to use, with concrete pipes and stuff, you can't really have enough straps. You did well Luke🤣. Anyway, one thing you can do to stop getting dirty hands, is to wear throw-away blue gloves that we used during the pandemic, just put them on then your work gloves. There are some idiot drivers about. He certainly didn't want to move his vehicle when you were leaving the building site. He moved just enough for you to get out🙄

Regarding the strap issue....thats a big and heavy load...its your responsibility. So more straps..the merrier..if something was to fall off..the 💩 will hit the fan.
