    One tip...when you have a large log like the one at 3:20 in the video, after grabbing it with the grapple, set the grapple on the ground and "roll it back"...then open the grapple and the log will roll closer to the tractor...then close the grapple again. With the log closer to the tractor, it will be easier to pick up and also make the tractor more stable because of better leverage. I have done this many times.

    These Kioti's are really great machines. Have the big brother CK3520 with the factory backhoe, which is fantastic ballast. I also have a large grapple and have picked up 3 or so 10-12 foot 15-18 inch diameter pine logs at one time, and have also picked up the entire rear of our Dodge Ram Hemi truck.
    NIce job, and love the fun you're having, Amigo! Keep it up and enjoy and be safe.

    Well, Sir Mr David you have delightfully demonstrated how to pick up HEAVY things using a small tractor. Not only doing the heavy-duty lifting safely----You used the "rear compound leverage" technique. By doing so you have "Saved" your front AXLE!!!! The loaders ( power)on the kioti's CK 2610--4010 & TYM-RK37 are really too powerful for the front axle. The "top open" bevel-gear spindles are Week! As ALL other similarly classed machines. The tapered vertical spindle shaft crushes the top bearing & "special internal-bearing-seal" (Very Expensive part) every time!! The tell-tale sign is the start leaking within a measly 250 hrs of use--- typical use in 2 to 2 1/2 years. I have seen this many times & haved fixed this PROBLEM more times on "capacity-reved-up-tortured" New & just out of warrenty rigs. Your fine demo should only be used once a year at best. The by-pass hydraulic valveing is the only safty "green-horns" usually go by!! Not to only mention rough & uneven ground limiting factors. The front loader really compounds front axle weight leverage. Just a Great vidio "how-to" demonstration!! Also liked your belt attire- never know when you will need that "wrench". Happy safe Tractoring Mr David. Thanks for the vidio.

I may not get to all of your automotive stuff, unless it’s GMC Sierra or Ford Escape stuff, but the tractor/gardening/wood processing stuff, all on my playing field!! You’re environment looks similar to ours as well, I’m in NH. Liked the Kioti lift test! I spent a couple of years researching and in the end, Kioti was the best choice! • @robs8882
      @robs8882 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      hmm, I could only see 1,200 as the capacity to full height. maybe I had the wrong model ck2610.

    • @ifyoutip
      @ifyoutip 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@robs8882 I don't remember but I think it is 1835lbs at 59" or 60" height. I think that spec is at the pins or close to it. Not on the bucket cutting edge. I have a kioti 2610 and it easily enough picks up 1300 lbs round bales of hay and my set of forks weigh 195 lbs alone. I don't think they exaggerated the lifting capacity because I have filled tires and I can pick the back end up off the ground without trying. When having heavy loads at the far end of the forks then it gets even more tippy. The 2610 is a very good value for money. I was used to John Deere before I got my kioti 2610. Now this is the smallest tractor I ever owned because the one I sold before buying the kioti had around 80 hp. But I would buy it again over a John Deere. I don't know about Kubota but I imagine it's better value than the Kubota tractors. Kubota has some pretty dumb designs in my opinion. Saw one Kubota and the oil filter is sticking out in the perfect place to get punctured. The forward and reverse control pedals are really nice on the kioti balso. Most comfortable I Kubota. He has bought every Kubota brand new. His last one was around a 100 hp i think. Was back to the shop in unser 50 hours. Plus the cab is noisy.

    I have the same tractor and love it. I bought it with the backhoe and added a Michigan Iron Works hydraulic thumb. It is a work horse. My only complaint is the hydrostatic drive eats up a lot of the engine power. It sounds like your rear remote hydraulic lever might be engaged. In the center position it won't put pressure to the rear remote.
