I have a friend who teaches many Indians in adult English classes. We both laughed till we hurled! These are brilliant satire pieces that work on many levels. They poke fun at the monoculture Australia had in the past, the stereotypes of the police, the ignorant foreigner in Australia, the bogan in contemporary Australia, as well as being an homage to the individual language that has developed in this country at the bottom if the globe. These pieces are an utterly must watch set for all us English teachers!

He got his nickname after getting a reputation for chopping off ears and toes and the like of some of his criminal victims. For crying out loud people, this is not an educational video. This is a satirical comedy series clearly based on an exaggerated image of what Australians are known for. Apparently satire goes over the head of a surprisingly large number of Australians. Hell, they're taking the piss out of the things we Australians constantly brag about - our creative language, our love of meat etc. It's also written and produced by Australians, just FYI. Ironically, most of the people crying out "racist" would probably be perfectly fine with it if all the actors were white Australians making fun of Australians, but the Indian actors with their Indian accents clearly rattle a few casually (or full time) racist cages.

To anyone who is taking this offensively, A) you don't need to get offensive for Aussies, we can stand up for ourselves, we know how to have a laugh, B) if your saying that your Aussie and your offended by this, I'm gonna believe you ain't, cause we know how to laugh, C) if your saying your offended and really are Aussie, learn how to laugh at yourself mate! Genuine Aussies know how to make fun of themselves, we were all raised to know that if your weak your gonna get kicked and left for dead, so being offended isn't an option!!!
