    Hey Jay, thanks for the great review! I thought I’d address the wobble issue for anyone who’s curious.
    The wobble was due to a previous manufacturer messing up the connectors and, as a result, we had to attach each connector ourselves. We are a 3d printing company at heart and drilling and reconnecting cnc’d connectors was a bit outside of our wheel house. We’ve since found a new supplier who correctly mounts these for us. The new connectors have been extremely reliable and we haven't had any reports of wobbling issues.

      I can vouch this is corrected. I just received mine and it's a bit different. I don't have the ratchet system, it's a thumb screw that tightens the cradle down, and you just loop the lanyard around the club and feed it through the generous space at the bottom to slip into the battery door. No wobble, feels really solid in the hand.

      Sorry Jay but DeadEye VR don’t sell this item. Bought what I thought was it from their website and got a different item shipped. Controller doesn’t stay in the holder of the one they sent out as there is nothing to hold it there. Contacted their customer support and they were extremely rude! Avoid buying anything from Deadeye VR!

      @@felimclarke Are you sure you put it together right? The one I just received has a screw to tighten the plastic around the controller instead of using the string to twist it tight with the ratchet system..

      The first one I received was with a steel shaft. It broke in the handle and that was from swinging, not banging it into anything. I hope the carbon fiber holds up better.

    I love having a realistic feeling club for VR golf. The Quest 3 controller design means that using the controller in menus or flying around Walkabout is usually a mess but there isn’t really a fix I can think of.

    Can you please do a comparison between using a Quest3 controller vs Touch Pro Controller to see how much better the tracking is on games where the hands are going behind the head. Particularly for the full swings in golf. Or serving in tennis. Or if you haven't tried, IB Cricket is a very cool game too with amazing realistic physics (if you are a fan of cricket).

    The big miss on this is the length. A foot shorter and it’s perfect. Ideally the part that holds the controller should screw into the handle to keep the length in check. Weights are over kill.

    own 2 of the DEAD EYE VR and they are a game changer. I have one like you showed in your video but mine is only 19"-21" long and one piece not scrrewed together. Good to tighter places or apartments. The adjustable weight system is awesome as well. has a real grip on club. i would totally recommend this product Well worth the cost

  • @UFJoy
    @UFJoy 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    there is a way to the weight being adjustable. imagine making the handle already equipped with weigtht and whenever you want to make it "heavier" you press the button the weight is falling down at the end of the stick making it properly weighted. This thing is what i wanted to do. I would buy for sure. there is a space to improve tho. I just need to give up on VRFPS (not gonna happen, MkUltra is coming and will be free) cool stuf (staff) for sure

  • @mab4110
    @mab4110 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    What is the purpose of a carbon shaft? Is it to push the weight out as far as possible?
    Wonder if a steel shaft would feel much different and I assume it would be easier manufacturing and cost effective to produce.

    I think its probably one of the best add on clubs, the only conplaint I really have is the length for smaller areas. I wpuld love to see them sell an add on shortened club handle instead of having to buy the mini. DriVR if you're reading the comments, the screw on handle portion, sell that portion shortened so we can use this in any situation.

      @@maeu59 I'm happy with the yezro. I need a short attachment because of my small space. I use it without the weights otherwise it gets too heavy. But if I was looking for a golf attachment NOW, then I would maybe consider the attachment by AMVR. But I have not tested it myself.

    • @deadeyevirtualreality
      @deadeyevirtualreality 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      We created the two piece design for shipping reasons. It is stupidly expensive to ship a full length golf club internationally if the club doesn't have the ability to break down. We engineered the connectors to be extremely strong to ensure the breaking down doesn't affect the strength of the club. You can actually see the male connector is a slightly different color because it's made of steel because we figured an aluminum connector would bend on impact.

    Help please! I live in Rwanda and shipping lithium batteries is a no. So I have someone coming to visit in a about a week. I wont have time to wait for the new headset. I will be getting the M3 headset but i am confused on the batteries. I might be frazzled because of the short time, but do I need the B2 batteries or do they only work for the quest 2?
    Also found this on reddit:
    Just a heads up about the BOBOVR B2 batteries with Quest 3.
    The Quest 3 needs 20 watts to stay topped up and charge more than it is using-the B2 batteries on the M2 and 3 strap output 15 watts.
