I'm so sick of these rolling out and me not getting the features for months if ever. Like the silly meta wrist button thing I have the thing to flip it on or off but it doesn't work
Given the price of a decent traditional treadmill, if I could get a VR one that was easy to sync up with my Quest 3 for $1,000-$1,500 that would be pretty enticing.
That's an interesting perspective as treadmills do cost a lot on their own. The easy sync part is the part that is most important to me and so far the one's I've tried with Quest really don't live up to that.
I wouldn't get a tread mill for two main reasons. Firstly I don't think it would prevent me from getting motion sickness, and secondly I'd be exhausted after 15 minutes of shuffling. Its not real walking, its shuffling, and sliding takes a lot of energy. And even if it didn't, I can play in VR for hours but not if I have to walk or run for hours. The novelty would wear off real fast and I'd stop using it.
Do you have to wait until updates are pushed by Meta before your Quest 3 can update.? I understand there is a cocai....... Website that might host a copy, if and when obtained. But no other options, but wait.? Thanks.
