Watch the full new nighttime projection show at Disney's Hollywood Studios called Disney Movie Magic. The illuminating projection style spectacle is displayed upon the park's Great Movie ride Chinese Theater facade.

Mr. Fabian I don't have an answer for you, and I'd be interested in hearing other people's answers. but my personal opinion is that the Star Wars spectacular is so very much better than Fantasmic is. Yes Fantasmic talks about Disney animated characters, but I thought the show was fair at best compared to other Disney entertainment. and on a scale between Star Wars and Fantasmic there is no comparison; especially if you are any sort of fan of Star Wars. because the fireworks for Star Wars is just amazing!
If you're choosing between this projection show and Fantasmic, do Fantasmic! It's a bit longer and they actually get to see some of their favorite characters in 'real life,' which is always a treat!!

Hm.....It's alright. Seems like a very temporary show. Just seemed to promote current and future things. Guardians was the best part though!

So... basically it's really "How many famous movie quotes and scenes can we fit into a 10 minute projector show?". Very subpar for you Disney, and very dissappointing.
So can't wait for Disney to destroy Mary Poppins' legacy by releasing the sequel nobody wanted. Disney would be rolling in his grave if he saw what his company is now: a soulless studio that rarely releases something original for the sake of brands, sequels, and remakes. Sure, he sought out to buy rights to characters to make films out of but he infused his films with boundless creativity. There's none of that in the formulaic Marvel or unoriginal Star Wars films or the remakes of Beauty and the Beast, etc.
It's Hollywood, they are always in it for the money, but there are other studios that set out to distribute/create art for the sake of saving cinema and giving it the respect it deserves. Even the other major studios release something original once in a while and they become hits (Get Out from Universal being a very good example). Disney thinks that films need to be undemanding entertainment, fast food for the mind, and that is just sad.
Disney could still make Marvel/Star Wars films for all I care, but is it too hard for them to do something different once in a while, also? I miss the days when Disney took risks, when they did release original films, when they had Touchstone and Miramax to release mature films, when their animated films were more than just a brand to sell toys. Oh well, c'est la vie.

Henry Barnill there are 6 books of Mary Poppins, so Julie Andrews' movie was just the 1st book. There are more MP stories to tell.
