I’ve been on this ride. It has a completely different feel than a space mountain type ride because you’re leaning forward. This is much more fun in my opinion
I was on first seat and it was so fast tear literally streamed down my face, also my effort on trying to smile made me look extremely creepy in the picture
This is perfect. This is how the adventure parks will be in the future. There is a lot more potential in this. We could let the people ride in the loop for 5 minutes, but change the graphics on every loop. This way the people would not know that they are in the loop. They would see different things all the time. The combination of the digital projection and the roller coaster can create an illusion of space and an endless landscape. There is so much more potential in this, than we can see in the video. I think it's just the start of this type of rides and we will see other versions that are designed like a cinema in the 3D tunnel with digital landscape projections. For the people calling this lame, it's very clear you haven't experienced the ride yet because starting from 2:06, your entire face will feel like it's melting from the speed.
@@ChthonicRemains I'd say it could be slightly lame for experienced roller coaster riders because of a lack of inversion and being in an enclosed space that hides the verticality. For me, though, as a coward, this is the first proper rollercoaster I've ever been on (at 42) and I loved the breath-taking speed and the fact that it didn't go upside down! The VFX are also wonderful. After being crazy scared to even go on it, I ran back and did it again immediately: oh yeah, the single rider queue can often only be a few mins long (not on weekends though; don't go anywhere in China on the weekends!)

Seeing this makes me really wanna go not for the coaster, but the scenery and the theme. My jaw dropped when i saw the neon carts and themes, especially in indoor parts
YAS definitely one of the most memorable rides in Shanghai Disneyland. In was a pain to wait in line for, but luckily we got fast passes the second time we went! It's definitely worth the wait!

Ummmmmm that’s what like most of the coasters are a long line but a short ride. This is because of money for the track and general rules the park has and theme parks are more about the themes than the ride so for me this is good. Here in the Netherlands you sometimes have to wait 2 hours to ride a 40 sec dive coaster.
When they announced this would be coming to Orlando, I literally screamed with joy! They said it'll open there in Spring of 2023, just in time for my 18th birthday!
To answer any questions I have actually be on this ride my self as a live in China, this is an amazing ride. The tickets to the shanghai Disney land are way cheaper, at around $60. The ride was amazing.
This looks absolutely incredible. Disney has never been known for its huge roller coaster rides, and I think this is a good mix between the Disney magic experience and the subtle yet speedy track. I’m excited for it to come to WDW Florida.
I remember riding this back then I barely couldn't breathe because of how scary it was and mainly because of how fast the wind was hitting my face lol. It was a fun ride
What it would be is a dark ride with a huge 360 screen or something while they're all on their speeder bikes from episode 6 when they're all on the jungle planet
Not to mention that it would be the first coaster in Epcot (that actually made it to the park). Even though I prefer the old aesthetic a little more (which if implemented would probably fit more in Tomorrowland with its "future that never was" concept), nowadays I'm just glad something Tron exists in Disney Parks, whether it be the original or Legacy.
+BRhode512 nah, Tron Track is still fun, and think of it this way, if we get a new ride without removing anything else, people will likely be dispersed throughout the park more, resulting in lower lines (maybe).

the fits the small of the back, its a hydraulic lock. little kids would fly off the bike. some oversized people wouldn't fit. its a cool looking ride. we would never see it in the states.

Agreed. Autopia is historic and also a lot of fun. I loved this ride as a kid and my kids do too! If they need space, they can get rid of that whole launch bay building, it's totally a filler area right now.
At Magic Kingdom I heard they are buying more land for Tron, well at least I think And I heard Disneyland is kinda tiny. It doesn't seem a possibility in my opinion.
It’s really fun 🤩. I live in Shanghai and I just went to Shanghai Disney with my friends, and we practically rode every ride! And Tron is my favorite ride, we rode it for like 5 times!!
This ride is beautiful D: I wish that I get the chance to ride it one day. Even if it doesn't have a ton of exciting aspects to the ride itself, the theme was executed perfectly. There isn't a whole lot you can do on a ride like this without head support. But that doesn't matter to me. It looks great.
How about we wait and see what we get for Star Wars land first? There's a big possibility that we'll get something even better. Frankly I don't like this ride that much. It's basically a neon version of pony express at knotts with a fancy indoor section. They could've been more ambitious with the ride and given us a dueling coaster so you could race other people and a much cooler and longer indoor section. Really isn't that impressive to me.
Honesty like star wars but I prefer the Tron universe, I mean Disney's got the money we could have both the star wars land and they could do a Tron one as well wouldn't have to be as big just sucks Disney always ditches the Tron series
Hong Kong Disneyland's Tomorrowland was renovated, and is currently Star Wars Land. They have Jedi training, Space Mountain was completely changed to be 'Hyperspace Mountain' and Star Wars themed. You should check it out.
Nina Lempicka At least the lines are often less in Paris. Hit that single rider line at Paris Disneyland and you can ride over and over (fastest Space Mountain there is!)
You obviously havent been in a long time. The whole park has had a tremendous amount of work done, all the rides have been updated and some of the rides are the best versions in the world i.e thunder mountain. Space mountain is currently being updated to hyperspace mountain which opens next month. It is just amazing and even the Staff are cheerful nowadays :)
I just went on this ride today… The fastest and craziest rollercoaster I’ve been on. It’s so fast you can’t wear glasses on the ride. The speed is incredible. And even though it hurt a bit to keep my posture on the ride I didn’t really notice until everything was done.
Bring edibles gummies. You’ll thank me. This goes for all rides at Disney. Going through Splash Mountain high is one of the greatest life experiences I’ve had 😂

Ummmmmm that’s what like most of the coasters are a long line but a short ride. This is because of money for the track and general rules the park has and theme parks are more about the themes than the ride so for me this is good. Here in the Netherlands you sometimes have to wait 2 hours to ride a 40 sec dive coaster.
3 minutes is a substantial amount for a coaster. Some of the best coasters in the world are shorter than that

To answer any questions I have actually be on this ride my self as a live in China, this is an amazing ride. The tickets to the shanghai Disney land are way cheaper, at around $60. The ride was amazing.

I went there early this month and this ride was the craziest ride i had there. Still getting goosebumps. The whole ambience is too neon. Super.

This looks absolutely incredible. Disney has never been known for its huge roller coaster rides, and I think this is a good mix between the Disney magic experience and the subtle yet speedy track. I’m excited for it to come to WDW Florida.

Even though I prefer the old aesthetic a little more (which if implemented would probably fit more in Tomorrowland with its "future that never was" concept), nowadays I'm just glad something Tron exists in Disney Parks, whether it be the original or Legacy.
+BRhode512 nah, Tron Track is still fun, and think of it this way, if we get a new ride without removing anything else, people will likely be dispersed throughout the park more, resulting in lower lines (maybe).

I'm one of the few people that actually liked Tron Legacy. I think it's a cool franchise and it's too bad they won't be making any more. This ride looks pretty fun, but I'm wondering how the harnesses work.

the fits the small of the back, its a hydraulic lock. little kids would fly off the bike. some oversized people wouldn't fit. its a cool looking ride. we would never see it in the states.

Agreed. Autopia is historic and also a lot of fun. I loved this ride as a kid and my kids do too! If they need space, they can get rid of that whole launch bay building, it's totally a filler area right now.

I wish that I get the chance to ride it one day. Even if it doesn't have a ton of exciting aspects to the ride itself, the theme was executed perfectly. There isn't a whole lot you can do on a ride like this without head support. But that doesn't matter to me. It looks great.

How about we wait and see what we get for Star Wars land first? There's a big possibility that we'll get something even better. Frankly I don't like this ride that much. It's basically a neon version of pony express at knotts with a fancy indoor section. They could've been more ambitious with the ride and given us a dueling coaster so you could race other people and a much cooler and longer indoor section. Really isn't that impressive to me.
Honesty like star wars but I prefer the Tron universe, I mean Disney's got the money we could have both the star wars land and they could do a Tron one as well wouldn't have to be as big just sucks Disney always ditches the Tron series

Hong Kong Disneyland's Tomorrowland was renovated, and is currently Star Wars Land. They have Jedi training, Space Mountain was completely changed to be 'Hyperspace Mountain' and Star Wars themed. You should check it out.

You obviously havent been in a long time. The whole park has had a tremendous amount of work done, all the rides have been updated and some of the rides are the best versions in the world i.e thunder mountain. Space mountain is currently being updated to hyperspace mountain which opens next month. It is just amazing and even the Staff are cheerful nowadays :)

I just went on this ride today… The fastest and craziest rollercoaster I’ve been on. It’s so fast you can’t wear glasses on the ride.
The speed is incredible. And even though it hurt a bit to keep my posture on the ride I didn’t really notice until everything was done.
I was there 3 years ago, it was amazing. I really enjoyed . I LOVE SHANGHAI 😍
