Every time you give us a thumbs up a Narwhal gets its horn! (maybe..)
"Mmmm, basement food" with all the prominent Hufflepuff characters set as "The Last Supper" Helga would be front and center
It screams fridge magnet
PLEASE! And I lean Gryffindor, but I would definitely get this for my fridge!
YESSSS! You need to make this a part of your merch!
We made a home for my grandma in the basement where she cooks for all of us. I love basement food. It's mmm delicious 😋
Nah Cedric would be center, come on he is The Hufflepuff who died (for our sins). Then put Zac Smith in Judas’ spot
For April Fools you should release a J vs Ben with a really long beginning banter section that gets so long there isn’t a quiz after it and the video just ends.
They should!
Yes please!
flashback to dashie's juicy orenges.
They do that every week. It's called Popcorn Culture XD
They should do a fred and george video on that day (their birthday)
“In case you are new the the J vs Ben format”. If you are new, I envy the backlog of glorious videos you have to watch for the first time 😂
this is so true i started watching about 2 years ago and binging every single video for a solid month was phenomenal
Gogo gadget scb JvB supercut
Just found these yesterday and now I cant stop watching
Same haha, I wish I could watch them "for the first time" another time! Doesn't stop me from enjoying them again
Not J spelling Wales (the country) as Whales (the animal) 😂
Or Ben writing "Glade", which is from Maze Runner.
@@coolnerdlll6053 great series
I laughed out loud…for real 🤣
You could even hear Kat snort in response to the misspelling 😂
🐳🐳🐳😂😂😂
Every time they say Kangaroo Kat is waving I wave back, that way it’s two people who can’t see each other waving to one another.
Lol!
That's super sweet.
same I literally always do this and say "I'm waving but you can't see me"
That's actually so wholesome ❤
I also do that 😊
Godric's name for the Sword of Gryffindor: "Leslie, my love"
(This is why he has no descendants)
🤣
Leslie was a real woman who was a maledictus and eventually permanently turned into a sword!
@PhilBagels 😂😂😂
"Leslie, the largest sword in my life."
I would literally at this point watch an entire video of Ben and J just talking about their impressions of the founders of Hogwarts. It is the highlight of every video it comes up in.
My personal headcannon is that Gryffindor has no *blood* descendants. Instead he just has Bruce Wayne syndrome where he has an uncontrollable compulsion to adopt every scrappy orphan he incidentally stumbles across.
@@abuchanan234... that is absolutely fantastic
@@abuchanan234 That's very Dumbledore esque (see Newt, Tom Riddle, Hagrid, Harry, etc)
The difference between a basement and a dungeon is the decor.
and function, and deepness, and lighting
And Harry doesn’t live in a Dungeon
@@TheBandit025Nova The dungeon under the stairs.
Technically speaking; "dungeon" actually refers to the most secure part of a castle or fortress, and can be underground or in a high tower.
@@rolandswift4311 Oh, good to know! Thanks!
Time for the Hufflepuffs to have their day. All hail the badger.
Indeed, time for us to finally get the respect we deserve
Where the love for the Ravenclaws?😢
@@Helpthelittleguys You'll get your chance in a week or two.

Yay finally!!!
Kat's "wow" at Ben's drawing of Griffindor was the exact same "wow" you give a child when they show you something they're proud off and I love it
May I suggest, since there was so much talk of trick questions, an entire trick question episode?
In Ben’s drawing, it’s less Gryffindor’s Sword and more Godric’s Butter Knife.
Editor was high on this one 😂
Them question cards 😱
Hahahaha rip to question cards 8 and 10
@@celestemoss1141 let us not forget his T-Shirt fun fact as well 😱😅
the gryffindor sword was almost certainly called the Lion's claw! its so obvious.
Sure hope not, that was Jeffrey’s sword’s name in Game of Thrones. 😬
I think Snake Slayer, he was just that petty towards Salazar.
@@imaginepageant well it'd be interesting to say the least
@@BahamutZerodragon Ooh I was wrong, Joffrey’s was Lion’s Tooth! Godric can have Lion’s Claw then, it isn’t tainted. 😆
@@imaginepageant yay! as far as real life animals go... Lions are in my top 5 favorites. so thats a good thing that he can have his sword be Lion's Claw.
Fun Fact: Celestina Warbeck also had a Phoenix Feather as her wand core
16:43 callbacks to the Sims game where Helga had a bed in the kitchen 😂
12:13 Maybe Godric’s last name was Dumbledore until he acquired a griffin door for his office, then thought it was so delightful that he officially changed his last name! But that was after having children, so the kids kept the Dumbledore name.
Maybe a nickname he got from Salazar and the name stuck like Marauder's codenames?
@MrDUneven I like it!
“You may belong in Hufflepuff, where they are just and loyal. Those patient Hufflepuffs are true and unafraid of toil.”
When I once took the tests on Pottermore, my House was Hufflepuff, and my patronus was a badger, so I am a Hufflepuff through and through😉😀
Glad to see my House finally getting its chance to shine! We puffs get so down-trodden all the time

I loved the Dumbledore is a Gryffindor descendant video. I love that you can't remember FOR SURE that you made it LOL.
To be completely honest, Ben and J just make my life happier. ♡
I’ve had the phrase “Us old DA lags” in my head ALL DAY today and now Ik why, my brain was subconsciously preparing me for this quiz
The two most famous phoenix feather wands in the wizarding world are clearly those of Harry Potter and Voldemort - but they are not the only ones in this world. Crooner Celestina Warbeck, Molly Weasley's preferred holiday listening, also has a phoenix feather wand.
Laughed at the H in Wales -- I think they keep the H's for Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
And this town has an AMAZING song to learn to pronounce it's name! Kind of a bop.
th-cam.com/video/1BXKsQ2nbno/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
This is the most unhinged intro ever lol. Perfect for a hufflepuff episode
I love the idea of "im rewarding Harry Potter with 70 points to hufflepuff"
"no one wants to hear a rock trumpet"
Yes hi, the genre Ska would like a word with you J!
Names for Gryffindor's sword:
-Lion's Fang
-Serpent's Bane (anachronistic, but awesome, and who knows? Maybe it was the subject of a prophecy. 👀)
-Red Glory (dramatic, poetic, has a nice ring to it)
10:18 You people and your non-summer birthdays! Only once did I ever get to have people say “Happy birthday!” to me at school. 😂
Mine is technically in summer but the start of the school year. So I had to go to school on my birthday.
For all of elementary school the year ended before my birthday, and then I moved when I started middle school and school ended after my birthday.
My birthday is near the end of May, so frequently, school would end right around my birthday, and I always claimed that as a "Birthday present from the universe".
Also, I GRADUATED from high school on my birthday, which is to this day, the best present I've gotten.
Just be happy your birthday doesn't land around spring break/easter/April fool's like mine does. Meant during school everyone was either out of town for break or "April fools'd" that they didn't get me a present. And now as an adult when I want the break, it's no longer a thing 🤷
@@ecocentriclifemy birthday is march 11, and spring break is usually starting on March 11. Also, it's usually on a friday or saturday. Its always been a pain to organize a party tbh
"What is a dungeon if not a different basement?" I love this so much.
A dungeon is a closed prison cell that is usually located underground.
A crypt is a cellar, vault or underground chamber often associated with a church where it often used as a chapel or burial place.
A vault is a cellar with an arched roof and is often a burial place.
A cellar is an underground room used for storing food or wine.
A basement is just an underground room.
The sword of Gryffindor would be called "Lion's Fang".
Ooh, that's a good one
My head canon always was that the sword of Gryffindor is basically Excalibur…🤷♀️😅
Wait an minute So who ever held it should be King or Queen of UK
I also think their common room would smell like honey or maple syrup or something like that
I’m surprised for the gemstones that fill the hufflepuff hour glass that it’s not citrine as citrine is a yellow ish gemstone.
When J did the giggle water I actually laughed out loud!! 😂
I snorted, I was laughing so hard. I think it was how abrupt he was with it. Timing was perfect lol
The southern part of Wales is sometimes referered to as "the valleys". So yeah, Wales. Helga was more likely to supported Holyhead Harpies not Wrexham FC
The Caerphilly Catapults would have been her local team🎉
@@rachelwilliams1454 Caerphilly has a quidditch team?
@hannah.lindsey yup! It's in the Quidditch Through the Ages book they brought out for Comic Relief. Blew my mind when it came out cause I'm from Caerphilly 😅
@@rachelwilliams1454 oh cool, I have family there.
That makes sense, The guy who founded Hogsmead probably was like thinking of honoring the school with the only three remaining headmasters there.
I like to imagine Gryffindor’s sword was called Eagle Slayer to spite Ravenclaw. Doesn’t roll off the tongue that nicely, but I think he’d prioritize the sentiment
You know I think it's just the opposite with Gryffindor as far as descendents. I think he had a bunch of kids and being descended from him just isn't all that notable, and he left his only noted artifacts (the Sorting Hat and his sword) to the school, not his children, so there aren't any "heirs of Gryffindor". You can't be an heir if you don't inherit.
I also really like that one fan theory that the McLaggens are descended from Gryffindor.
🎵tHe ScHoOl Of RoCk!!!🎵
“Your a big fat looser and u have body oder” -Mr. Cool
Spazy Mcgee
I love that movie!!!!
"I've been touched by your kids...and I'm pretty sure that I've touched them."
J...'Wales' the country does not have a 'h' in it' 😂
J vs Ben: No one wants to hear rock trumpet.
Polyphia Ego Death: I AM I JOKE TO YOU?!?!
Yeah speak for yourself J!
hahaha Godric being the life of the party and the Barney of the group is so funny. He had a good time but didn’t want kids
I loved J drawing of nearly headless nick at 15:30 😂
I always had questions about spells. How are they “created”? What’s the process? And why are some spells are complicated? What do you need to do other than say the words and focus? Ik crusio you can only produce out of hate. But what about the rest, why some spells are “hard”
Cause magic. Suspend your disbelief
I always wondered that too. Especially the part about creating them.
Hamburger is used in the fouth book… i think chapter three when talking about dudley’s favorite food because of the ✨diet✨
The direct line is:
"The diet sheet that had been sent home by the Smeltings school nurse had been taped to the fridge, which had been emptied of all Dudley's favorite things - fizzy drinks and cakes, chocolate bars and *burgers*."
So you're correct.
@@coolnerdlll6053 I mean, it's not the word Hamburgers, but close enough.
Wait… why on earth are they called ✨HAM✨ burgers????? It’s cow
@@XxCJOxXit’s because of the German city Hamburg where it was invented, not from Ham and burger
@joniiodsalz Still doesn't explain why French fries are Belgian.
Perfect episode for history making… the Fluffiest one 😅
That giggle water scene with Jacob is one of my favorite scenes of FB!
Hufflepuff is my house and I'm so excited for this!
Helga "Hooligan" Hufflepuff
Yep, Helga Hufflepuff is from Wales, not Whales hehe... finding that out made me feel even more sure I truly am a True Hufflepuff, as I am of Welsh decent =)
Ben was bouncing from HIMYM to School of Rock references so fast and I loved it
if it's tied through the year, it's going to come down to the battle of the bands😉😜
14/15, totally whiffed on the house cup question and got lucky on several
Did I have to stop watching this to go watch Jack Black play the sax? Yes i did. But I'm back now 🤣
And now I find myself yelling FOUR every time Ben says "1, 2, 3". This is the most fun/fluffy quiz ever
0:33 that cracked me up! 1 single point
O my gosh sutch a missed opportunity the sword of Gryffindor is obviously the the Gryffin sword.
Basilisk slayer... the real reason behind the friends spillitting up
It brings me great joy every time Kangaroo Kat references John Mulaney
If there is a tie at the end of the year you have to do a band battle for sure!
Technically, parts of WALES are known as "the Valleys"...but J loses that point for atrocious spelling anyway 😂
Phoenix feathers wand core users: Professor Silvanus Kettleburn, Madam Celestina Warbeck, and Daniel Page. Just to give a little Hufflepuff love, Silvanus Kettleburn was in Hufflepuff.
Also on the Hufflepuff name thing, there all rather non magical names - Justin, Ernie, Hannah, Susan, and Zack. In Gryffindor you have people named Nevil and Hermione, Ravenclaw has Luna and Padma and Slytherin has Draco.
Neville and Hermione are bad examples, as especially Neville is a common British first name
So I was randomly thinking. How come Lupin doesn’t see two Harry’s and two Hermiones on the Marauders Map when they go to Hagrids? Also why doesn’t Harry ever notice two seperate Hermiones roaming about the castle? Will the Marauders map show both copies of a time traveller?
The second is easy. Harry never notices two Hermiones because she only is double when they are in class and Harry never uses the map in class. Besides he dosn't have the map for months because Lupin has it. - The reason why Lupin dosn't even notice two Hermione and Harry could be that he is too focused on Pettigrew and Sirius. Most of the time both sets are not close together. For example Hermione and Harry 2 are spending a while in a closet before leaving the castle. They are also hiding in the dark forest or the inside of Hagrids hut which don't show on the map. The same with Snape by the way.
Ravenclaw Jeweler returning... There are a few yellow gems including Citrine and Topaz although the latter comes in most colors. Amber is actually a resin, not a stone at all.
Molly weasley also has a phoenix feather wand core.
Loved this so much when i read it, she is such a strong woman she deserves it❤
Do you remember in which book this was?

Originally, the door to the Griffindor common room had a big heavy dumbell that you had to lift to enter and it said:
"Only griffindor are GRIFFINSWOLE enough to open the door"
I personally like to believe that the Sword of Gryffindor's name is Steve
Ah yes, the famous regions of UK : England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and 🐳🐋
Scotland is always first not England because King James VI & I numbers VI > I
@@TheBandit025Novanot quite. James VI & I is in that order because he was King of Scotland (as James VI) before the Union of the Crowns and thus became King of England also later (as James I). James II & VII is simply numbered in ascending order as he became king of England, Scotland and Ireland at the same time, and therefore his English/Irish numeral comes before his Scottish one.
@@Arwen2098 Sorry my mistake I think i wanted to make an joke but I make an terrible punchline
Grifindor would 100% name his sword something like "The Lion's Claw" or "The Hippogriff's Talon"
Griffendor was the most likely to marry a muggle, and end his magical line. (While non magical continued).
Heck, he might be the source of ALL muggle borned wizards.. who has the latent magic talent reemerge once in a while...
Also sword was named: Lionfang duh
Band battle? Between Harry and the Potters and Draco and the Malfoys?
I went to a show like that circa 2008 😆
Nothing AGAINST Quizabella or any of the other quiz readers (if you guys have them, I don't remember) but Kat is definitely my favorite quiz reader, never get rid of her!
And Kat, please never leave!
Next week, we do the best house!! Let me hear ya RavenClaws!! 💙💙💙
For Kat - the linguistic trend is to ask whether a word is "kiki" or "bouba" (spiky or round).
You should do a super cut (year-by-year) of all previous JvsB like you did for 2023. I’d watch all of them! I want Ben to win one year. ❤
I'd love if Gryffindor's sword was named something basic like "John"
