    Making babies is hard, growing them to be good citizens is harder.
    Just remember boys and girls, kids are blessing but they are also a game-changer for your life. Don't have them till you're ready to commit. Don't have them to keep a relationship together. Good parenting requires you to do what's best for your kid/s and not for yourself.

    • @mellenix
      @mellenix 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @ahnuhmay sure for many they can bang them out intentionally and unintentionally, but don't forget you've got doctor visits, scans, cravings, sleepless nights, morning sickness, extra weight carry around, bones softening, hormones playing up, possible miscarriages, complications, mental health, etc for 9 months.
      For those, who can't conceive naturally, that road is even harder and possibly very costly.

    My husband and I started trying early because I have PCOS and I have heard it takes longer for people with PCOS to conceive and I was worried about it taking too long... however we ended up getting pregnant on our first try and I have just had my 12 week scan. Don’t get too worried about your chances and just let your bodies figure it out. The more you stress the harder it will be to conceive.

It’s such as tough thing with PCOS because I’ve heard so many people who have tried for ages and also I’ve heard of many who got it on the first try like we did! I do feel like I’m constantly worried though that we’re going to lose this little baby and the one time thing was just a fluke but I’m trying to stay positive that everything will be fine!

I also chart down for 16months my basal temperature to find my ovulation timing. (I found out i only ovulate few times a year)

    I feel that the lady was already in pain and her laparoscopy was like a procedure to solve the emergency and there was like no choice. Perhaps given a choice, she may not want to have the laparoscopy but instead will want to try to get pregnant first before she gets her 4 cysts removed.

    • @naileusmile2293

    • @skirtrunning
      @skirtrunning 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@naileusmile2293 I'm sure she's required to sign consent forms to acknowledge the surgical risks... The issue most of the time seems to be different doctors having varied expert views on a laparoscopy affecting fertility. I used to consult a handful of doctors for trying to concieve and because I have an ovarian dermoid cyst, a handful advised me on a laparoscopy to remove the cyst first. That was when I realised how opinions can vary so much amongst doctors. the last doctor I chose to believe and followed through actually advised me against a laparoscopy, to concieve first and then remove the cyst after pregnancy. I am relieved I followed his advice otherwise I would not have the chance to hold my first born in my arms now.

    • @eunicekoh4484
      @eunicekoh4484 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lothekitty1327 so you're saying people with hectic lives shouldn't have kids because it's not logical? Firstly, we're hustling because we want our kids(if we have any) to have better lives than we had. Secondly, we're not getting any younger so we'll definitely want to have kids as soon as we can to avoid any high risk pregnancies. Thirdly, if anyone has your mindset, there's so many great minds that would not have been born.

After wedding Dec, miscarriage in late Feb, we both had diarrhea and I got a jab cos mine is more serious, so didn't thought that I'm pregnant, when I found out, my fetus was too small for the number of weeks old and my 3rd is I missed my menses for 2 month but there was no baby in my sac. After lost my 1st one, trying for 6months, we went to see Gynae every month and counting dates regularly for another 1 year, but still no news of pregnancy, so we decided to give up cos of Hub night degree course and he joined Superband contest at that time, and without counting date, I got pregnant and given birth to a 3.8kg baby boy.

    Women need to plan a child earlier since we have to deal with complications. It also differs with where you live, facilities, your race and ethinicity, living conditions, health issues etc. For Indian women, oby/gyon advise the first child before 25yrs to avoid complications. Whereas western people and african people have stronger bodies. These days we have a lot of fertility issues in general. The older women are, the harder it is. So even before you get married, if you want child, discuss it with your partner. We have a biology clock unlike men. We face hormonal changes like menopause. But ofc pls be financially secure before you plan to have a child. Being a responsible parent is most important.

    How do you know whether you want to have children or not?

    • @lothekitty1327
      @lothekitty1327 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly. Think deeply about life first, then decide whether it’s worth it to have children. The world is already in a mess right now

      @@lothekitty1327 You have a point there. It’s a question I’m asking myself too but it is not a thought/question generally encouraged or acceptable in my religion hence, I’m genuinely asking.

      Arya Stark It’s good that this question even crosses your mind. Most people don’t think about it, & just reproduce reproduce & reproduce. I have nothing against people that want to experience having children. But many people reproduce irresponsibly. They failed to understand what it means to bring new humans onto this world, which could have destructive consequences to the child. If anyone wants to reproduce, please seek knowledge first & foremost, develop the mind first, so that when they become parents, they will know how to raise & guide the child to the right path. I say this out of compassion & empathy for the child..there are too many neglected children on the planet

      Nafisah Ayub U didn’t get the point. Don’t get too personal. My statement is based on two equally healthy couple. woman getting pregnant at older age will increase risk exponentially for both the mother & the baby. U are a woman. U should know that. So start young . It’s unlike the case for man. Just look around.
