  • If you're looking for a modern farmhouse, watch this! In this video we share some of our favorite Prescott Valley acreage subdivisions. This is a 3 part series and will cover 9 communities in total. Make sure to check back in the coming weeks for part 2 & 3. If you want more space between you and your neighbors this video is a must watch.
    Communities toured on this Video:
    1. Legend Hills, Prescott Valley
This community is situated at the base of Mingus Mountain. Site built custom homes only set on 2+ acre lots. Natural topography of the community offers a diverse landscape and you can see Prescott Valley lights from many of the upper lots. Home prices from the 800s on up over $1M as of the recording of this video.
    2. Mingus West, Prescott Valley
Mingus West is situated between Legend Hills and Saddle View (#3 on our tour). Site built homes only set on .3 acre lots and larger with an average of .5 acre for most lots. Not quite acreage property but large enough for an RV garage to store your toys inside and on your own lot. Community is surrounded on 2 sides by state land. Home prices from the upper 500s on up over 900K+ as of the recording of this video.
    3. Saddle View, Prescott Valley - saddleviewhoa.com/
Saddle View is an equestrian community with minimum 2 acre lots. Horses aren't required and majority of the owners don't have horses but is nice to see them sprinkled in the community. This community is also on open range meaning there is a heard of cattle that roam Saddle View. Build out is around 208 homes and an estimated 120 are built as of the recording of this video. Home prices from the upper 800s on up over 900K+ as of the recording of this video.

Love Prescott. My wife and I would love to buy a home when the market bottoms.

Love your channel. We are moving to PV and have been looking at Copperfield. We made a couple trips each month last year and have seen a lot. We want 2 - 4 acres. The challenge with Copperfield is we find a location we like but can't find any information on it. No realtor signage, not marked on the Copperfield map, etc. Also, not all the plots show up on Zillow or Realtor either, or at least it isn't clear that it is in Copperfield. We are not 100 % committed to Copperfield, and after watching your 3 part series, we might have to take a look at the other locations you featured. Thank you...Kelley

Hi guys. We have been thinking about retiring in Prescott or Prescott Valley. Weather being the main consideration, also political climate. We currently live in Spokane, WA. Glad we found your channel. Already visited Precott area twice this year. Please keep posting. Thank you

Thank you for such a prompt reply. We're at least a year away, planning on going to Prescott again in January, at that point will probably be looking at some real estate possibilities. The housing market has gone up everywhere, still, it seems Prescott is somewhat higher than Spokane. Thanks again.

Hello, may I ask when you filmed this video? Is the vegetation normally dry or is it a particular time of year?

I’ve always lived in an HOA so I am familiar with the basic CC&R’s. Is there anything in these acreage communities that address a timeline of when you have to build? For example, if I buy a 2 acre property, do I have to put a house on it within a year. Or do I have to put a fence around the property within a certain time? I’d like to buy some land but I probably wouldn’t be moving to Prescott area for about 5-10 years. Thanks! Love your videos!
