AZKC goes to Prescott, Arizona! Was it what I thought it would be?

- I had never been to Prescott, Arizona and was excited to visit over my birthday week. I chose to stay at Hotel St. Michael, built in 1901, and rumored to have paranormal activity. I chose the hotel based on its location on historic Whiskey Row and within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
I wasn’t sure of what to expect but assumed it may be comparable to Tombstone, Arizona.
Would I return? You bet your boots I would! I LOVED IT!

We love visiting Prescott. Staying in the air bnb Mansions are REALLY fun! Great restaurants!

Hello KC, I loved the music in the back ground. My type of music.I love jazz. I forgot to wish you a safe drive to where ever you were going and back to Tuscon. Seeing you have reached safely. I am happy. It was nice to see you on this video, happy and smiling. KC, on one of my emails. I asked you for your friends postal address, so I could send you a Christmas Card. I happen to find it. So please do not bother. I have to learn to keep a cool head. As soon as I send the card. I will let you know. It will be one day next week. I was watching a video of Hau Hin this evening. A lot of Americans that have retired, have made Thailand their new home, and have no regrets. Everything is so cheap in Thailand, and they are living a good life. How I wsh I knew all this in the year 2000, when I first went to Phuket. Never mind, I will be there next year. Take care, stay safe, and keep smiling.

We were just in Prescott in Oct. I have a daughter who lives in Prescott Valley and we were visiting. We would love to retire there, but the housing prices are well out of reach. We did enjoy walking around looking at all the victorian houses. Swoon!!!

I lived there for close to five years. My husband and I retired there, but he passed away nearly five years after we moved there.
Prescott is a beautiful place.

Those are my initials actually. Lol. My real name is Kimberly. I started going by KC about ten years ago. I started a new job at a new restaurant opening up and there were two of us named Kimberly. Everyone was getting us confused so I said I’d go by my initials. It just stuck. It seems odd now if anyone calls me by my given name. 😊

Prescott thanks to out of staters coming in have driven home prices beyond the reach of most families.
It’s the same here in Tucson. I don’t know how anyone can afford to buy anymore.
No, its the same everywhere, its the economy not the out of staters. Plus, its a fun place to live now. Much more fun than it was in 80s, 90s, 00s.
@@WRMRanch out of states have a huge contribution to it, how.do.tou think the economy works ? I've grown up here, it was great in the early 2000s,it's over crowded now

so Prescott had alot of places to eat? like fast food and restaurants? just curious because most of the video's i seen online dont show much in the way of places to eat at..
Oh yes! There were a lot of restaurants around the main square in the historic part as well as more in the modern area further out. I wish we could’ve stayed longer as I would have really enjoyed trying more of the restaurants in the area.
Just don’t go to Prescott on Monday as I discovered that is the day many of the restaurants are closed. Lol
