I have also found that handling life as it comes is far easier when you are deluded by religious beliefs but have both feet on the ground of reality. Far too many people waste a lot of their time appealing to an invisible supernatural entity for help when they should be working out their own solutions or figuring out how to accept a bad situation or event as just what it is, life. It's the only one we get and to waste any of it on woo woo nonsense is really sad.
Past is gone future is speculative. Only the now truly exist all the time, so why not go for the gusto and enjoy it? We need to stop living for the many fairy tales taught by controllers as a society, and learn to simply respect each others view regardless of what that is. :)
