Girl it took me 7 months to color 12 pages so to me you're a coloring beast! Hahaha! But I totally feel you on feeling like you're not doing enough. I get down on myself about that kind of stuff too. I have a lot of different hobbies so I'm spread really thin for each one. It took over 30 years for me to accept the part of myself that needs to skip around and do something new and different all the time; I had spent my whole life trying to force myself to stay more dedicated to singular things and it was full of self doubt and frustration that I couldn't stay focused on one project for very long like other people could. My husband would get frustrated that we would start playing a video game together and two weeks later I was really dragging my feet to bring myself to play it; making him feel like I didn't want to spend time with him. Well, turns out I wasn't diagnosed with ADHD until I was in my 30s, then it all made sense. This need to hop around find novelty was who I was going to be forever and I needed to make peace with it. This whole backstory is for me to be able to tell you this bit of advice on retraining your thinking. When you find yourself thinking of something about yourself that gets you down, don't banish the thought, inspect it. Look the negitive ideas in the face and ask, "why? What made me think this? What's the reality of the situation?" And end the little self conversation with a positive afirmation that includes the reality of the situation. Doing this repeatedly helped me to accept who I am and how I operate. I can't speak to what process helps you heal, but I thought I would throw this out there for anyone like me that cant just tell myself not to think something, I have to repeatedly reherse why and how to fully beleive and internalize. That teapot page was gorgeous! And with the wreaths, isn't always so exciting to see your growth side by side!? Love that! I also love it when colorist finish a page and they exclaim how much they love how it turned out! That's the positivity I love to see! No such thing as too much glitter! Omg the giant sushi is so cute! Love that you're experimenting like with the gel pen over paint. The enchanted earth page turned out so amazingly! I've heard matte acrylic has enough texture when its dry that you can color over it with pencils quite well. I've got to try it out. You had a great month of coloring! My favorite page was the teapot page! So cute!

I struggle with commitment so I am going to rank my top 3 favorites that tie for first, second and third. I agree the Enchanted Earth page was stunning and I love all the little extras! Im also equally obsessed with the tropical Viet Nam page, moody clouds and all! And because I'm a sucker for the Adorable Town book, I afore your sushi hut page! And because it seems we have a lot of the same books, I would love to be considered for an upcoming buddy color when you have a spot😊. As always, thanks again for sharing your talent and inspiring me to try new things. I'm looking forward to seeing next month's pages already! 😂
Girl, don't be stressed about the number of monthly pages. You are young, you're working, you have a social life and surely other hobbies, so you can't fit more hours in a day. I understand that there is a pressure of producing content for SSMM but it's a hobby, right? There is a British colourist who achieves 80 to 100 pages per month and every video is a tutorial (irony ON). She is adorable as a youtuber and a person but her coloring is mediocre, although she doesn't care. She is happy as it is and, sincerely I really enjoy her channel. Your pages are beautiful. Beauty takes effort and time. The day you manage to get a better quality pencils, you'll discover the "sensorial experience" they bring and it will be another level of enjoyment, believe me. So no rush and enjoy the coloring for sheer coloring. Have a nice week. Cheers.

I was mad sushi page got so low but seeing the top, it make sense. That teapot page and hot air balloon one OMG it just stunning. The color chloice was chef kiss, the detail was off the chart, and just so beautiful. Also agree the Viet page was really nice.
Don't feel bad about colouring 8 pages, I manage just about 2 a month! My favourite was the underwater tea cup page, but all of them give me so much inspiration for colourful palettes.
I feel your struggle to color the clouds in rita berman books xD I just recently got "meine reise durch asien" and decided to color in it page by page in order. I colored the steam of the train just in gray xD I think I still need enchanted earth and circle of life and maybe the new book of melpomeni, which releases next year (i think).

Question: first, thank you for showing you video i am new to your channel but loving your colored collections for this month. My question is that I use some acrylic pain on my coloring pictures but the pain hardens and can come off. Have you had issues with this? Could it be that I'm using cheap acrylic pain pens. It is always funny to see what other people are coloring. You use happy and bright colors while I mostly use gloomy and moody colors.😅

I’ve only experienced that when using budget supplies 😅 I’d recommend trying out Arrtx acrylic markers! They’re great quality for the price ☺️
Does alcohol markers pass trough the other side
It does! So I only use it in single-sided books and put a piece of paper in between as well ☺️💕
