Just curious as to why you chose to use aluminum and not wood being that the frame is constructed from wood. it's looking really good. I really like the materiel you chose for the headliner as well.
To reverse your process put the material on aluminum. Also you need to make sure the pattern matches otherwise they will be mismatched. You should use a wide roller too and you can work the as you apply it thus avoiding wrinkles as you go. Me personally i would have wrapped a 1/2 to an inch as well. Its not gonna do anything to the top. Hey your way may work too, time will tell.
Why would you just assume that your patern is going to align at center on those two pieces that you just put material on for that area above the rear window?

Mark your panels !
Do you not realize the blades break off in sections.instead of replacing each time.?
You can only snap off so many sections before the blade is too short to hold securely in the handle. Perhaps you didn't watch the whole video and see Chad snap off the first section of the new blade.
@@alpeach9480 you can certainly snap them more than one time and i did not see him do it even once in the whole video. maybe i did just miss it. but doing it just once is just a waist.

Waste... you spelled waste wrong.
If you were really paying attention he did wind up breaking the new blades he put in after changing the dull ones. But you clowns like to nit pick every little detail. You guys need help
Hate to say but once the sun hits it will warp like crazy unless its thick aluminum.
Sun? In the garage
@@EugeneLangowski , true was just thinking that too ,my bad . Oops we are going to get trolled again , lol.
and condensate
@@George-g8y5l , Yes , I had a 1959 Airstream trailer that did that and the smell was aweful , like an electric motor burning smell . why not body metal ?
No it won't 😉✌
A power Staple gun, either Electric or Air, with a heavier and longer Staples will be need to staple those Aluminum and Cloth panels, to that hard wood. Also a roller would help get any trapped air bubbles out of the panels, that hand smoothing missed .Good Luck your getting it !
you said time is money how many billing hours have u lost. every mistake I s money 2 pierces of glass laugh it off I still c mistakes coming tune in tmro
Lets count how many grammatical errors you made in one small paragraph 😂
Just curious as to why you chose to use aluminum and not wood being that the frame is constructed from wood. it's looking really good. I really like the materiel you chose for the headliner as well.
To reverse your process put the material on aluminum. Also you need to make sure the pattern matches otherwise they will be mismatched. You should use a wide roller too and you can work the as you apply it thus avoiding wrinkles as you go. Me personally i would have wrapped a 1/2 to an inch as well. Its not gonna do anything to the top. Hey your way may work too, time will tell.
It would look awesome with one of those visors
Looks good! Great craftsmanship!
Why would you just assume that your patern is going to align at center on those two pieces that you just put material on for that area above the rear window?
WHY WOULDN'T YOU SE A PROFESSIONAL TO DO THIS? THEY COULD MAKE YOUR SCREW UPS LOOK BETTER.
Chad has been revealing how he would do it the most economically, for several years now…🤫
So u guess you will need some foam or something to quiet down the roof. It might be loud. Just my opinion. Curious ow what the next step is.
Chad we're here to see work on cars, not push-ups or tanning beds.
Just take whatever you like, & throw away the rest…👍🏼
why are you watching this channel if you dont have anything good to say?
Actually some people come here for the silly stuff, chad has been consistent through his productions to allow his "life" to be shared, not merely his car skills. I do know that some people only want to see cars... so I take what I like, hopefully you can take what you like.
This is turning out amazing! You two working together makes me smile! I am going to build this for my 26 ford. It's going to have a Harley Davidson theme, so with the exposed headliner, I can either have the "bar and shield" or orange and black showing. Possibilities are endless. I'm excited to see this turn out. Like always, it's going to be awesome!
Use the hand held electric shears to cut aluminum, or tin snips.
It would wrinkle it and the knife is a cleaner cut with that gauge for sure. Not a bad idea though
That aluminum is so thin the utilty knide will cut it. The problem though is the fact the aluminum IS so thin. That roof is going to get all dented up.
If you ever go thru your things sent to you from amazon, you will find something that makes using spray cans much easier. was sent a few months ago.
Chad and Jolene, great team work and nice photography. The headliner is going to be beautiful. Keep up the good work.
If its flashing you can buy it painted or plastic coated for the color
Chad knows how he wants to do things... He may not always be right but he is the one making the decisions... He ask others their opinion and may use it and may not...Learning as he goes...Jolene is a helper and a good one.... 😊😊
You should get half in foam and glue the material to the foam the glue to metal
