  • Welcome back to Tims Cotteswold Farm: BEST WAY TO REDUCE SEED COST ON THE FARM
Successful odd-job week whilst we wait for the false spring to leave, snow to fall and for the land to get back to a warm temperature to drill our crops with our Claydon drill.
The winter wheat is starting to emerge and looks healthy. Lots of comments about our £5.22 / Acre drilling cost. Clearly a no-till future for us means more profitability.
One big job is home saved seed preparing. I show you how we do it and indicate the steps involved which not everyone knows!

Do you get a germination test done on the grain before you commence this process?
