I'm a teenager and I haven't had much games growing up. My 3ds only had smash and was mostly a ds machine... and I already owned a ds! Still, I loved that device to bits and never sold. Now as a teen, I got my first physical game for it... Kid Icarus Uprising! Also I'm pretty happy to see another phoniex Wright fan
I also bought a DS Lite and New 3DS XL this year, and "healing my inner child" is an absolutely perfect way to put it :D a first generation DS "phat" was my only console growing up and I didn't have that many games on it either. I love getting to play DS and GBA games on this DS Lite, and the 3DS XL with custom firmware is such an awesome little machine that lets you play entire decades' worth of games through Virtual Console injection and backwards compatibility. It's super neat and I'm glad I pulled the trigger. Have the same exact color DS Lite as you btw :D I think it looks super pretty! What games are you playing to heal that inner child? I've been diving into lots of Pokemon games (only had Diamond as a kid), A Link Between Worlds, The Minish Cap among others :D
Same with me! I had a DS Lite when I was a kid but I also didn't have a lot of games back then 😅 It is just a really comforting and warm feeling for me when I finally bought a DS Lite this year ☺️ Somehow, getting these systems made me happier than when I got a Nintendo Switch. Probably because of the kid in me that had always wanted these 😅 I finished Pokémon Omega Ruby a few weeks ago and I recently just started Pokémon Ultra Sun and some Professor Layton games but I stopped for awhile and decided that I'd like to play the entire Ace Attorney games first 😅 Do you play Ace Attorney games too? They're really good! 😍

Try the Ace Attorney Phoenix Wright Trilogy for the 3DS :) It's the first ones that were released for the DS then ported to 3DS :) If you've also played Professor Layton games you can also try playing Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright :) I've yet to try Zelda games as I've never played any Zelda games yet 😅
I recently got a the new 3dsa couple of weeks ago and I have been loving it, It has Homebrew on it and tons of games and I've figured out how to download games myself and it is in mint condition
You should definetly homebrew it sometime. There's so many cool things you can do on it while its homebrewed. Its honestly just better
It's actually already homebrewed and I'm really enjoying it ☺️
