- hello! i hope everyone is having a good day :) this is my first time decorating my 3ds and it was really fun filming this! (●'◡'●)
also i'm aware that i was literally wiping down a NEW protective case when i should've cleaned my 3ds instead. 😭

Clear casing + stickers is an amazing combo.. I’ve done similar stuff with my 3DS (though mine is scratched.. thanks younger self) and it turned out great.

hiii, congratulations for having a beautiful 3DS like this, but here's my recommendation: remove the acrylic case because over time, the sweat from your hands will get in and the case will rub against the console's housing, causing the time scratch. And if it falls to the ground, it won't absorb the impact because the material is very rigid.
ohh i see :) thanks for the suggestion! i bought a clear case so I'm able to decorate my 3ds hehe but maybe ill take it off while i play

And makes absolutely sense! I saw photos from people using case to prevent scratchings and they still got them!

I never had a 3DS as a kid as my parents got me a pink DSi the Christmas before the 3DS came out, and I couldn't play the 3DS exclusive games, but I didn't want to seem ungrateful so I just never asked for it.
Last year I caved and got a New Nintendo 3DS xl galaxy edition (definitely overpaid for it too looking back) and it was such a good purchase! I love the bigger screen and already have 3 Animal Crossing New Leaf cartridges.
Very tempted to get a decoden whip case for it as I have a custom Little Twin Stars one for my switch lite and it's so adorable! I have a cute Pompompurin clear case already but it's starting to chip and I'd just like to switch it up. So I may cave and get myself one for Christmas this year as well as some nostalgic cute DS accessories I found on eBay.

I regret putting stickers on my 2ds xl case. I have a black and blue one and the stickers i put on were purple/pink and removing the case just left a bunch of adhesive residue that i can't get rid of..

i'm dumb too 😭i was actually scared to do it since i was concerned of bricking my 3ds or doing something wrong but honestly the tutorial in my description is easy to do! just follow his steps precisely and you'll be able to homebrew it!

yes i did!! if yours doesn't have an sd card, you can buy one on amazon or a store that have an electronic department! i suggest getting a 32gb one if you just want a couple games since it will provide you enough storage :) and if you're having trouble with the modding part, there is a tutorial video down in my description ^^ hope that helps

Hi! Where do you get the classic games?? I can’t find them on hshop :/
i got them from any website that has rom games (they have to be .cia format) and download them thru the FBI software on the 3ds :)

i'm pretty sure i got mine around 160-180 CAD dollars? honestly it was quite lucky since the other 3ds XLs in my facebook marketplace was being sold on a much more higher price like around 200 i think. but hopefully you can find one that was around the price i got!

hi! sorry for the late reply! i'm pretty sure i used an extreme sandisk 128gb sd card since i want a lot of games on my ds :) but 64gb is honestly enough if you just want a dozen games on it. i also got it on amazon!

@@toxicine---6047 But you need to convert the sd card into a fat32 format. Just so you know. Because the 3ds doesn´t accept any other sd card format.
Usually sd cards that are bigger than 32Gb are in an exFat format.
Oh yeah 32Gb is more then enough, if you go bigger is more to hoard games on the 3DS, and the load times are a little bit slower with a sd card bigger then 32gb.
