Owana, I now understand how Messrs Richard Obwol(deceased), Roy Komakech, Boro boro and Ogwali Etonga ended up as teachers in Kenya. I vividly remember how Ogwali insisted that he had two birthdays; the day he his mother gave birth to him and the day he survived a firing squad. Telling such a story to us young lads that only understood war from watching American Vietnam war movies truly awed and wowed us. I really pity them but at the same time I celebrate them for shaping my life academically especially in the sciences.

@@anthonymugabira9897 From Kabamba i went To Gulu until 1988, Then my unit was Transfered to Soroti, While there, I was Taken to be the Body guard to the then SDA (now known as RDC) Same year 1988 i was transfered to Kampala where i joined Presidents office. 1991 to 1991 I was in Jinja on a course, Then returned to Kla where i worked in ISO until 2005 When i retired and Joined UN in 2006 Till now

But yu man Mr Gasanani..who told yu Uganda didn't have an army before M7 take over?????And wat do yu mean by scratch??Uganda had a very strong army under Amin and the President just revamped and re-organised and of course brought in some new cadres..the scratch narrative is very misplaced.
Mwana nga tuvude wala our defense forces didn’t even have uniforms then. Apart from that after watching some of these video helps me appreciate how far we have come

Who told yu they didn't have uniforms??That was just a post training exercise .Even now wen yu go to Kabalye or Kaweweta,yu can still find officers trolling bare chest,it doesn't mean uniforms are not there.Mark yu Amin's forces were well looked after,the only difference is the slight variation in discipline.
