  • this is the sensor that blows up if your car was in a accident and airbags or seatbelts blew. This won't allow power to the car after. needs to be replaced.

    is there a way to bypass it or test it to make sure it is this part?

    They sometimes going bad without any airbag deployment or incident.. When jump starting, dead battery.

    My plug looks different and doesn't have that same latch. I also am having a hard time pulling the plug out.

    Do you know if this will trip even if seatbelts/airbag do not deploy. Got a non running rs6. Might be seized because oil cooler busted but cannot check oil level unless car starts!

    Do you have to replace the airbags first then change the fuse? Or can you replace it only to start the car?

    Also another question did you ever try snd jump and get the same issue why the broken one was on?

      It ran with this one blown but had check engine light on. On a bmw, it will have 0 power if these are blown.

      @@ipartoutstudio I have an a7 2013 and even with the jumper on, it will not start the starter or the fuel pump. It just has acc on.
      After I took the fuse out still made the same noise (click with acc on) and all as before. So I ordered the new fuse and hoping this was the issue all along. I just changed and coded this new battery.
      But now that you say you were able to jump with the bad fuse kinda worries me😅 (without bridging the connection, or do you mean after bridging?)
      Mind you the car was in an accident that damaged the intercooler and all coolant came out. I think one airbag deployed but it may have been replaced before they relalizy they couldn't get the car on. I bought it after and after inspecting that pyro fuse I saw it was original and never replaced.
      Your thoughts?
      And clarification on whether you mens with the bad fuse in or after you bridge the connection and then jumpstarted.
      Thanks for your response

    Hello, i replaced this fuse and now have power to the car. the front rad is cracked and i havent gotten around to replacing it yet, I needed to move the car around the shop quick so i tried to fully turn it over, however it just clicked and not even tried to turn over, would this have something to do with the coolant level?

    I got my car towed home after losing keys ; he shook my car off because I didn’t have the key lol; got my key ; it started then died 3 mins later; you think this may be my problem by getting it off a tow truck; or fuel pump shot from having 15 miles while cranking it up

    • @ocwolfy
      @ocwolfy 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The fact it started says it isn't this part, just a dead battery or alternator, if the engine shut off it's alternator being faulty unless it's your fuel pump
