This clip was taken from Virtual Riot's post couch lands stream where he produced part of his song Simulation released as part of his latest album under the same name. u can make the “poop saw” just by opening init patch, turn on noise (just turn on, don’t touch anything else) then go to fx and just put distortion on and put it to 100%.
then u can cut out the mids
Barely Alive also has a tutorial on making their poop saw using their song Computer Love as an example. I think its on Disciples channel and its a really simple serum patch that leaves lots of room for other personal effects and touches

when he uses the term "Crunch them together" and "Crunch them against each other" what does he imply? Bit crusher with dry/wet? recent new license ownder of Ableton and not familiar with this term yet.

@@rola8597 no, a reese bass uses phase cancellation (unison, detuning, chorus) etc to create motion. this is just a static saw with some noise.
@@Trickey2413 Reeses are commonly made from saw waves and how he processed it would work just as well on any other reese bass. He probably didn't do it here cause his top end already has unison, chorus and sounds wide in general. Not having it on the bass here gives a nice contrast to the mix.
Instead of complaining like a hoe that technically it's not a reese lol, go take 2 seconds to tweak detune/unison and you literally have one. Everything he showed resmbles reese bass design.
