- This video explains about Starch. Starch consists of 2 components namely amylose and amylopectin. Amylose is unbranched structure consists of alpha 1-4 glycosidic bond. Amylopectin is branched structure consists of alpha 1-4 & alpha 1-6 glycosidic bond. In starch branching points occur every 24 to 30 glucose residues.
i'm an Arab women and i understand from your explains more than my biology lecturer! keeep going
Clear, well detailed and to the point. Thank you very much. You explained this quite well. I will now follow you for my learning. I like how you take the time to rewrite everything. It helps reinforce my understanding and learning.
You explained it so well. Can't wait to present this topic in class. Your student from Pakistan. Keep going sir!

U explain.. Very nice 👍
Thanks for the knowledge sir.😊👍
Very useful...thank you so much😊
2 alpha d glucose makes maltose right (c1 c4)? you made it as amylose.... amylose is made when we get more than 2 apha d glucose? I'm I wrong sir this is my doubt.
please answer
I wrote [ ]n. Here, n means repeated units make amylose
@@SandipsBiology i was right. thanks for clearing the doubt I'm preparing for jee. ashirwad sir

thank u sir
Amazing 💙✨
Thank you!
Extraordinary..
የሁለቱም የስታርች አይነት ልዩነት
I still confused because I want to know about the linkage between amylose and amylopectin.
These two are different kind of starch or also connected??
Plz someone explain it for me
Amylose and amylopectin are types of starch
This is not components
This is types of starch
1. Amylose - water soluble, unbranded
2. Amylopectin - water insoluble, branched
And you must know when branches are from alpha(1 →6) gluco...bond was from
So obviously amylopectin have 1→6 bond type
Hope i explaine it 🚀
Thank you so much
Thank you best teacher ever we need more videas
So helpful😂♥️
