Yes but depends on your sat prep. If you have the surround then a little tricky to get to the buttons but you still can. Although can’t remember the last time I used the buttons as the screen options are easier to use :)

I wonder - that original GPS mount, which GPS does it take? Looks suspiciously like a Garmin one.
I have the Chigee on my V-Strom 1050XT. Its accessory bar is around 20-25mm in diameter so the Chigee flush mount bracket won't fit it. But that bracket that you have might bolt onto my Garmin mount which is still in place. (The chigee's mounting arm is sitting over the top of it).
The hole pattern is the same as the one garmin uses. So chigee shouldve advertised this as a adapter for chigee to mount to any garmin compatible bracket.
@@HvV8446 since posting the above question I bought the lossless mount and adapted it to the Garmin Montana mount on my V-Strom 1050XT. The Chigee is now almost flush with the accessory bar, no my shaking on dirt roads where it can be rough.
And as far as theft goes, it'd be difficult for any crook to simply unbolt it as the screen is in the way. I had to remove the accessory bar in order to tighten the bolts on it. So, it's there to stay.

@@markholroyd5365 hi, you released a vid that had awful sound. I then received another notification of a vid but it then said it was private ! Then a third vid appeared which was the same as the first but with better sound. I thought Toby was possibly still in the pub whilst uploading.
Yeah sorry buddy. We were alerted that the sound was awful. Not sure what happened but I put it private as soon as I heard and then updated the video re edited it and uploaded it and then edited the social media posts.
Better sound now ;)
