I have the exact same r6. I damaged my left side mid fairing and engine cover. Getting ready to change the mid-fairing first here very soon. Thanks for this video!
Anytime and thanks for subscribing!!!! I no longer have my R6 so I can't post any more HOW TO's but I can always answer any technical questions you may have.
You were a super help! Thanks for taking the time to post the vid. It looks like you helped over 8,000 people! I got rid of my R1 a year ago for $ reasons. Just picked up a mint 08 R6 and had to change the oil. There's nothing like seeing where all those little hidden fasteners are! Check out my channel if you get a chance and subscribe! THX again- J
Sorry for the late response......YES!!!! I'll try and get a video up this week regarding the removal of the headlight cowl/headlights. :cheers thanks for watching!
+muzicmuzic9 This is the Corsa. I commuted and traveled quite far with my bike so I opted for the corsa as it offered more "touring" protection. Highly recommended.
+Robert - BlueRebel Do you have like different pictures from different angles of the windscreen? I'm trying to decide between double bubble or corsa but i can't find any good pictures of corsa screens on the r6.
If you're referring to the push pin rivets, you pull the center rivet out, install the "base" and then push in the rivet, you'll know when it locks in.
LOL. If you have an 08 and newer R6, you need to line up the two "pins" on the inside of the mid fairing and make sure they slide into the two slots of the nose fairing and THEN, you can line up the rest of the fairing. It tricky but you'll get it.
i have the same exact bike but im missing the inner panel part and been looking for one but i still dont know how it looks cuz this is my first yamaha. if you dont mind sending me a picture of how it looks or send me the link to one. help a nigga out XD
Shame quality isn't a bit better but the best instruction I've found... Thanks bro, ride safe 👍🏻

Yes, i'd like to see the front fairing removal as well.
Good vid!! Do you have a video of the front fairing and headlights?
Thanks! Unfortunately, I don’t. I no longer have my R6 so I can’t record any new footage.
Thanks for the video. I am a new subscriber.

Did you cut your own fairings to install those frame sliders?? And if so how? Thanks
First time taking off fairings. Feel like im going to break them when sliding middle fairing forward to release. How much force do these things need?
Thanks guy you're the champ
Glad I was of some help! 👍

Thank you! Very useful!
When they're new they need a good push/pull.
Thank you for this
is that windscreen a double bubble or a corsa?

muzicmuzic9 Negative. I no longer have the bike.
How do you put the little plastic rivets back on?
If you're referring to the push pin rivets, you pull the center rivet out, install the "base" and then push in the rivet, you'll know when it locks in.
Your the man!
How do u change headlight fairing ?
Start removing screws.. eventually it will fall off.
Im in the process of changing my fairing set, removing it was easy but damn putting the fairings front clip back on is a bish
Such a pain compaired to my r1 which takes all of 2 minutes to remove. My 16 R6 takes 15 minutes sometimes. Lol
2013 & 240p?
I have no idea what happened there, lol. I know for a fact that I recorded in 1080p. I must have missed a button somewhere.
How do you put it back on..? I've tried for over an hour and i can't get the nose part to fit back in where you said it's like a tight vagina..
LOL. If you have an 08 and newer R6, you need to line up the two "pins" on the inside of the mid fairing and make sure they slide into the two slots of the nose fairing and THEN, you can line up the rest of the fairing. It tricky but you'll get it.

Thanks man :)
