Also, check your Dynamic Lighting settings. System Settings -> Home -> Personalization -> Dynamic LIghting -> Background Light Control -> Drag Armoury Crate to the top. Hope this helps.
So I just downloaded the one from the Republic of Gamers website, and it seems to give me all the features, whereas if you download the one directly from the Asus support website, it gives me a plethora of issues and doesn't give me access to as much, like changing the GPU or CPU modes
I have a ASRock B760M-C on a prebuilt. The fans are driving me crazy. Pretty much going full mode all the time. I don't want to mess with the mobo settings and fry my pc, so I was looking into downloading Armoury Crate. Reading some Reddit threads has got me worried about it, though. It seems like it causes a plethora of issues. Is it worth downloading in my case? I just want my fans to only go fast when I'm doing more intense tasks instead of all the time.
@@Kerbesk if you have your fans plugged into your motherboard fan headers, you can adjust the fan curve on the BIOS if you choose not to download your MoBo app or Armoury Crate. Not 100% that Armoury Crate will work with an ASRock mobo. If you have your fans plugged into a fan hub, download your fan makers app as this will also make it easier to set fan curves. In the event your fans are going full speed after you set the fan curve, check your thermal pastes on the CPU. It may need a new coating. Lastly, make sure you give your rig a good dusting. Good luck and hope it helps.

Great video! On the function of Fan Xpert 4 in Armoury Create i have a question. Can i use custom profiles that i have created from Fan Xpert 4 in different scenarios that I will create in < Scenario Profiles>? For example, I create two different scenarios and call them a and b. I also create two different custom fan profile on Fan Xpert 4 and call them a1 and b2. i want when script is run that fan profile is enabled automatically and not manually. Accordingly I want when the script is run the fan profile is activated automatically. I own a b550 motherboard and I don't have this option in armoury create.
@ptip9850 that is an interesting question, but Fax Xpert 4 has already been integrated into Armoury Crate. When you load Armoury Crate and then click on Device, do you see the Fan Xpert option? If you do, you should see an option for AI Cooling. If you don't ssee the Fan Xpert option under devices, not sure if you could write a scropt or not to link the two apps as this falls well outside my expertise. If you do find an answer, appreciate if you could post it here as well. Apprecite the comment!
@@mynusten This feature(Fan Xpert 4) is only for chispet b650 and x670 and some intel motherboards. I personally have a motherboard(asus rog b550xe) where the Fan Xpert 4 is not included in the armoury create but in the AI Suite 3. The Al Suite 3 you can create custom fan profile but you cant choose them in different scenarios. I know it exists Turbo App but this does not work for custom fan profile.
@ponyboy402 as of today, Armoury Crate doesn't have any features that enable overlays, like an FPS counter. MSI Afterburner is a popular app for overclocking & tracking FPS speed & other metrics, but you can also use the FPS counter in Steam. Also, look for in-game options, too, as these usually are best.
Does anyone knows how to fix , Every time i install Armoury crate my pc windows 10 Freeze . Any solutions ? I do format , clean install , reinstall nothing helps !!!
@siralitis although you may have already done a bunch of this, but do make sure all your Windows 10 updates are updated. Next, download Revo Uninstaller and uninstall all aspects of Armoury Crate. Revo has a free version that is pretty powerful. Give your PC a restart and try re-installing Armoury Crate. If that still doesn't work, there is an Armoury Crate Lite Service that you can try. Lastly, Windows 11 is rock solid and recommend 11 over 10. Hope this helps and apprecaite the comment. 👍
@Spectro-ne8cx although I am not 100% certain on this feedback, do you have an Asus motherboard? My rig is using the Asus ROG X670E motherboard and this may be why I see the "tools" tab.

@madmad8582 for your graphics card and other case fans, I use my fan sortware to monitor all case fan speeds. For me, I use Corsair's iCue. To manage your GPU fan speeds, your best options are to use either AMD's Adrenalin or for Nvidia, GeForce Expereince. On the latter, type "Alt-Z" and once in GeForce Experience, click performance, scroll down on the left-hand side and change Fan Speed Target from Automatic to Manual. If none of these change your GPU fan speeds, try to reseat your GPU. Hope this helps.
@VenenoinRL to see you devices, you'll need to install each device's driver, e.g. the mouse or keyboard driver. Once done, you should be able to see the Devices tab in Armoury Crate. Hope this helps. 👍

@MineyM0 Glad my video helped out. In regards to Armoury Crate and individual key lighting, this is not a feature within Aura Sync; which is an additional download that plugs into Armoury Crate. Its a disappointment, and it is odd that Armoury Crate does have this feature.

@kasparsrutulis4777 are you refering to your PC case lighting? If so, you need to download Armoury Crate Aura Sync. From Aura, you can adjust a variety of case lights and periphreals.
Can you post the URLs here; I'll take a look.
Hey could you please help
When I going windows then personalization then dynamic lighting then background lighting control and there is do not have armoury crate, what i should to do ? But armoury create is installed in system ,the app shows me temperature fans ect, but not working only aura sync,, I got the new computer 5 days it was working ,but I do not know what I did :( maybe you can help me ? Please
@krzysztofwinnicki5855 I am assuming you are already running Windows 11. If so, I would recommend updating your motherboard firmware. Also, make sure you install all the Windows 11 updates, too. Hope this helps.
@mynusten ok thanks yes I have windows 11 home. I will try to do this step . Think my
Great video!
@ptip9850 Very good to know. Yea, I upgraded my mobo when I upgrade my chip to the 7000 series. Appreciate the input on the channel!
Is there a way to have armory crate overlay real time fps, temps, mhz while playing games or do i have to use the MSI app?
Yeah get windows 11
I downloaded Armoury Crate but I don't have the "Tools" tab
@Spectro-ne8cx although I am not 100% certain on this feedback, do you have an Asus motherboard? My rig is using the Asus ROG X670E motherboard and this may be why I see the "tools" tab.
How do u change motherboards in it.i change asus prime board to rog strix but prime is still stuck?
Are you referring to the BIOS page and what shows as your Motherboard? If so, your BIOS should auto read your motherboard. Let me know if you have a different question.
@mynusten no in armoury crate it won't up the rog strix but the prime is what it wants to upgrade. I registered to rog but can't delete the prime board. Sorry didn't do a clean installation
Where can I find dynamic lighting in windows 10? I can't find it. Can you help please?
@alinoorkhan2010 I only run Windows 11 on my PC rigs, so I am not sure where this feature is on Windows 10. Windows 10 will sunset in October 2025, so it may be a good time to update. I've been using Windows 11 since launch and its great.
I’ve got a brand new ROG Strix Scar laptop, I updated Armoury Crate and everything else but when I launch Aura to customize my keyboard it always says “Need to update Armoury Crate” …
My computer , my ASUS ROG , how does one change the fan speeds on the computer my video card saids the fan is at 0 how does one adjust fan speeds in the Armoury Crate , this is very important to me it is a bran new computer , and i need to run the fans the poor video cards fans are not working ty for your help and your video please help .

How do you get the device tabbbbb
@VenenoinRL to see you devices, you'll need to install each device's driver, e.g. the mouse or keyboard driver. Once done, you should be able to see the Devices tab in Armoury Crate. Hope this helps. 👍
@ I installed every driver available and restarted my PC. I also checked for updates multiple times but armoury crate can’t find my motherboard. I only need armoury crate to control my PC’s light and I heard you need to install the app provided by your motherboard’s brand. I have an ASUS A520M-K motherboard, (that’s why I installed armoury crate) but I’m not sure if I should use my graphics cards brand app or something else.
@@VenenoinRL I would check all of your fans and make sure each fan is securely seated on each header. If this doesn't solve the problem, try turing on Fast Startup under the Power section.
Does your armoury crate not lag horribly and fail to connect to your devices on a daily basis?
@Evenaardez I know this is hard to beleive, but I've been using Armoury Crate for years and I've never had an issue with the app.
@@mynusten Literally how, do I have a faulty board or something, I have uninstalled it half a dozen times and it is still slow and breaks nearly half the time.;
@@Evenaardez No, I don't think you have a faulty motherboard. Armoury Crate is a very wonky app and some gamers can never get it to run on their PCs. Unfortuantely, I don't have a work around for the app not functioning correctly.
@@mynusten That is so wild that depending on the PC it just works or not. I wonder if it works worse with a 7950x3d
@@Evenaardez I am running the AMD Ryzen 9 7950x3d and no problems.
can you help me, my personalisation, background light colour dont show armoury create thing for me
Same
@@wither2199 it's probably a different model because I have the same problem , I have a Asus Rog Strix G16 G614JV-AS74 model, I went to Settings to Personalization Background light color and it didn't show Armoury Crate. I was looking forward setting up the per key rgb keyboard or at least using 4 colors on Static mode. this is straight B.S. smh
Thank you for this video! You got me over the 1st major hump! - I would like to do per-key lighting when I play one specific game - however, it doesn't look like Armoury Crate supports per-key on any profile switching? Is my understanding correct? If not, how do I do it?
@MineyM0 Glad my video helped out. In regards to Armoury Crate and individual key lighting, this is not a feature within Aura Sync; which is an additional download that plugs into Armoury Crate. Its a disappointment, and it is odd that Armoury Crate does have this feature.
Hi, I recently downloaded Armoury Crate but I don't know why it doesn't show the stuff like yours does. In my dashboard tab it doesn't show the statistics, it only show my games, aura sync, scenario profiles and my profile. And I don't even have a tools tab. Do these things need to be set up somewhere? if so please teach me, thank you.
My motherboard is an old ASUS Prime B250M-K so perhaps it doesn't support these features?
@jackietrix I believe the Prime B250M is an Intel board that was released a while ago. I suspect that your mobo may not be supported.
@@mynusten I have 1 more question, I'm curious about installing drivers through this app. I'm actually planning to upgrade my pc so maybe those features will be available with the new motherboard, my question is: do I need to do anything before installing drivers through AC? Like do I need to uninstall something first like how GPU drivers work or does the app just take care of everything?
Again, thank you.
@@jackietrix In the event you mostly use Asus PC components and devices, Armoury Crate is an efficient way to install drivers & firmware updates. 3rd party updates, e.g. Bluetooth firmware upgrades are always more of a concern because most often, you never know. Armoury Crate will tell you and Asus is one of the largest PC manufacturers in the World, i.e. its a more trusted third-party. Once you decide to upgrade your mobo, going with a reputable company is usually the best way to go. Armoury Crate definitely has its issues -- buggy, poor UX, overly complex -- but it is supported, updated and gets the job done. Hope the above helps and appreciate the comments.
@@mynusten But do I need to do anything else before installing drivers using Armoury Crate or will the app just take care of everything for me?
@@jackietrix Armoury Crate will cover most drivers / firmware for Asus made devices. For anything else, you'll need to check those apps specifically. Good luck and hope you get everything up-and-running!
Is it better to download Armory Crate for a Gaming Laptop with mid specs or just use Armory Crate Gear?
@Chef_PewPew good question and if you use a laptop only, then Armoury Crate Gear may be a better option. I like Aura Sync, so I use the fully loaded version of Armoury Crate. The fact that Asus published Aurmory Crate Gear means it knows Armoury Crate Fully Loaded is wonky. 🙄
@@mynusten Definitely is. Only downside to Armoury Crate Gear is that they have to app for individual devices instead of as a lightweight hub for all Asus gear.
@@Seas0nedChef Oh, man! Didn't realize there is a "Gear" app for each device. That sounds painful.
@@mynusten Yup so you're kind hamstrung using Armoury Crate or have a bunch of Asus apps for each device.
🤦♂️
how about all the other services they install on your machine?!?
Asus ROG? Not aware of other services installed, but do post what you know here for others to understand.
@ XpertFan, gamer first or something like that, the special lighting plugin for holidays ..etc. literally do a screenshot of your Windows installed apps before and after and enjoy all those low quality apps they install and run on your machine lol
does anyone know how to change the actuation points of the keys i can’t find out how to do it
@@post1215 What keyboard are you using? Hall Effect switches are keyboard specific.
Easy! Dont install this crap!
@ToldYouSo18 Armoury Crate is definitely a bit wonky for sure and there are a lot of folks out there who have challenges installing it. Not installing Armoury Crate is definitely an option. 👍
My armouy crate all so dos not show up?
@mattmiller3484 try opening your Task Manager and stop running all instance of Armoury Crate. After you close all of them, try opening Armoury Crate again. Hope this helps.
My armory crate doesn't show under dynamic lighting??
@jaccho1914 Hi there. Go to Settings -> Personalization -> Dynamic Lighting -> Background Light Control and then drag Armoury Crate to the top-of-the-list. Hope this helps. 👍
@mynusten armoury crate isn't an option, it's like it's not picking up my desktop at all even with the dynamic lighting setting. I've been trying to research why. I'm running i5 12400f with prime b6d4M-A d4 motherbarc75 limited arc750 graphic card

I don't understand why so many people have so many challenges with AC. I have been using it for several years and have been using it to full satisfaction. the few times I had a challenge hd to do with either a windows update or a driver issue or disconnect with the AC Server. To me it's all self explanatory and common logic prevails. AC version six is been in the works for some time and once released should be near flawless. I love the AC .
@NAMOR5000 I've come to appreciate what Armoury Crate offers for our gaming hardware. That said, the app's software definitely has issues with a large variety of hardware. I look forward to Armoury Crate v6...had no idea it is in development! If you know more on its launch date, please post here. Thanks for the comment. 👍

@ImranMalik-mg5uv not sure a Mux Switch will show within Armoury Crate? Most gamers will always use their dedicated graphics card over their Intel or AMD integrated GPU. Is you MoBo and Asus board?
As far as my experience goes.. Armoury Crate is trashware. I cannot get this app to work properly and my RGB lighting is always messed up. I think there needs to be a realizatoin in the PC world .. there are no "CLASS A" PC products. Try as you may everything sold in the PC space is "B RATE" or worse. Apple is the ONLY consumer electronics company on the entire planet making "CLASS A" consumer electronics. It's sad, but oh so true
@ericmatthews8497 I hear you. Armoury Crate is a big of "do everythin" mess. For me, Armoury Crate has always worked; howerver, I appreciate there is a sizable population that are locked-out from the app as it won't work on their rigs. My understanding is Acer is working on a 6.0 version that will (hopefully) solve a lot of the bugs. As for Apple, I edit all my vids on a Mac and its solid...really shows was vertical integration does when it come to hardware. However, no room to tinker with a Mac. Appreciate the comment. 👍
