Hey Mike, we just moved from Western North Carolina back in January, up to Southwest Michigan. We’re roughly an hour south of you now. Like you, I had to move my entire shop up here too. Lots of motorcycle parts, motorcycles, and my whole leather shop. I don’t have a shop here yet. I gotta build it, but that’s coming in the next few months. Glad to see that you and Anna made it back safely. Looking forward to hanging out in the future.
Just finished watching the UBT sit down before this video. Wish you and Anna all the best for the future and can't wait for updates and shenanigans gins.
I've got a 2001 single cab Silverado that's a 4.3 v6. I found a totaled 2001 Tahoe in South Carolina recently when I was there for my Grandmother's funeral. Plan on buying it and doing a swap with it for my truck. Any suggestions? Want to keep the air and everything working on it. Thanks for any advice you can give me.
Glad that you guys are back home! I hate it for the reason as to why. Prayers for you and your family, Anna. Mike, whatever you get into up there, I have totally confidence that you'll do well as you always have. You have an amazing talent in whatever you touch!
Thanks man, being closer to family and watching my nieces and nephews grow up has really been a struggle lately. The shop and channel will continue for sure and I have big plans to get into some stuff a bit more in depth in the near future
Man, I totally understand that, buddy. I, too, know it's hard being away from family. I wasn't 16 hours away from my family like you were, but I had to move back to KY after only living in Missouri for 2 1/2 years. Missing family events and watching your nieces and nephews grow up is a once-in-a-lifetime thing. I look forward to watching what you get into in your future endeavors, plus we're buds on fb. So happy you're back home amongst both of your families!
Takes a lot to uproot from established roots for a new adventure even if it’s where you’re from. Congrats and good luck wished upon you guys. Tell Eminem, “whats up”.
Just re-discovering your shop and now you’ve moved lol! Congrats and best wishes! Any shop recommendations now that you’re gone? I hate I didn’t get to work with
Sorry if I missed it between this video and the UBT one, but have you told us what you'll be doing for a livin' up there? Sounds like you're just doing personal/friends-n-family stuff in the new shop. Does that mean you'll go back to a non-truck hot rodding day job? Is the Square (vintage trucks in general) as strong up there as it is in GA?
Naturally there isn’t as many people up here as say the metro Atlanta area so there isn’t as much going on but there is still plenty to do, I will be going back to a 9-5 at a company I worked for before we moved the first time
@@HowesItDoinGarage Gotcha. That looks like middle/upper MI. But wasn't sure how far from Detroit y'all might be. But even if you were near the hot rod Mecca of Woodward Ave., I wasn't sure if the truck market was strong enough to support a full-time shop such as you had in GA. But I'm quite certain you'll be very busy in your new place keeping the truck torch lit! Looking forward to seeing what's next.
Anna crushin’ that roadtrip footage! 🤘🏼 Y’all have done a ton already to get all that unloaded. See ya soon!
Man what a chore lol, Anna is always trying to record everything lol

Yeah it was a big decision, I let him know the next time I see him
I will keep an eye out at the Dream Cruise if you can make it.
We are going to try and at least get the burb down there
Much love from Guam/ Washington state 🤙🏾🇬🇺🇺🇸🍻
🔥 NR 🔥
Yay! I can have friends again! Lmao
Doubt it….
Welcome back to michigan.
Thanks man!!
I'm from Ontario, but I spend a lot of time in Michigan. Those roads are glass smooth compared to ours 😂
They are not bad, but they are also not great lol
@@HowesItDoinGarage Don't worry, you will spend plenty of $$ on fuel tax and registration to not get better roads.
Just re-discovering your shop and now you’ve moved lol! Congrats and best wishes! Any shop recommendations now that you’re gone? I hate I didn’t get to work with
I don’t really know of anyone to be honest

No Sir, it’s a great place for sure but just not home
@HowesItDoinGarage I hear ya the new place is cool I'd love to have some property no neighbors to close by and some woods

Most people want to move out of Michigan . Winter sucks, 10 weeks of cold, dark, and grey.
I enjoy the winter

Some say Mike shed his clothes and disappeared back into the woods of Michigan from which he came😂
