The whole C10 community canceled mike cause he said Torque Thrust were lame ....LOL I had already seen the new wheels on Uncle Buck But looks super freaking awesome !!
Good morning from Cape Cod 🦈 You really do some Superior work Mike. I would have liked to see the process of narrowing the rear end. The truck looks and sounds awesome! Keep up the great work Mike 👍✌️🇺🇲
I would paint the inside of box and just use it for a lawn chair and cooler just a clean spot to put a over night bag on car show trips I don’t think it would take away from it nobody pays that close attention any more lol 😂
Rear tires were $450ish plus shipping $50 to mount, axles shipped were $470, wheel tubs are around $250 from AMD, paint was $200ish, wheels are around $1,400 each, and the powder coat was about $200 a wheel
They make shortened versions of c-clip axles. This is just a driver truck with low HP and a 10 bolt, if I was concerned about snapping a shaft I would certainly upgrade to a 9in or something similar
@@HowesItDoinGarage low HP? 475 to the rear is high for these trucks but I absolutely love it and I will be duplicating your efforts on my black truck.
Everyone puts torque thrust wheels on 88-98 c1500s and I can’t stand it. They are nice wheels but are played out when u see them on EVERYTHING !!! Love your wheels bro but I heard u sold the truck !!! Uncle buck was definitely a keeper !! Love the content u put out on it .

Where did you buy the tubs from?
Amd sells them
Why ya gotta hate on the ol torq thrust wheels, some of us are on a tight budget 😫🤣 Someday I'll get some legit wheels! 😁🤙
I just like picking on my friends lol
Paint the rear tubs to match the front tubs.
Solid idea lol
Whats the cost for the set up

Did you do c clip eliminater or 9 in housing ends? Or do the make shortened c clip axles?

I really doubt the truck is anywhere close to 475 lol
What would you guys charge to shorten my rear end with the axels and all?
Axle jobs with parts starts at $800 and goes up depending on if anything is broken inside and if I have to remove the rear end and do the fitting
@@HowesItDoinGarage Great, thanks!!

lol I did not sell the truck, it’s in my garage right now

It’s a factory column
