I'm with you here... during season 9 Peter Capaldi was like tied with David Tennant for my fav. And I also loved series 10, don't know why some didn't, but I think you will like that series too. The best thing about Doctor Who is that it keeps changing.
The Doctor taking Davros' chair is one of my favourite moments of this episode omllll it's so funny!
Joking with with the Daleks about it... "each one of you has had exactly this nightmare" was the icing on the cake.
I think this was the season where Capaldi became my favorite Doctor, so many wonderful episodes to come.

It's nice to see how much you enjoy the 12th Doctor. Tennant is still my Doctor, but 12 is so much fun!
There was quite a bit of uproar about the Doctor not having a sonic screwdriver this season but there was a reason. Peter said that because it was such a heavy prop it kept ripping holes in his jacket so the glasses were a perfect way of still playing the Doctor just with a cheaper alternative. He also said parents would be happy that they didn’t have to shell out money for another screwdriver for their kids. There’s a clip of Peter at a comic con explaining this to the audience when a fan came to the mic trying to be clever and stating everyone hated the glasses.
I missed an Andres reaction to Missy tickling the Daleks' balls. 🤣
A pain hearing people are saying that the next few series fall off, always hope people let reactors form their own opinions first. Next series is really good and one of my favourites, and whilst some future series may be v different I think you'll enjoy them still!

Looking forward to watching you making your own mind up. Twelve is my favouritest (should really be a word!) of New Who and, in my opinion, was always going to be a tough act to follow. When it comes, as someone who grew up with Four onward (and experience the rest via the books and VHS) I enjoyed Thirteen's era plenty too. Looking forward to Fourteen too. :) Enjoy! ;)

Since the 13th Doctor era is coming to an end this Sunday, I rewatched the whole era, and I had a much better time despite its many flaws, not my favorite but I'll still be here with you when you'll be reacting to these :)

If I identified the next story from the "next episode" scene, the next two parter is my favorite of this season. This two parter was a great one, IMO the following one is even better.
Fun fact: the the HADS (Hostile Action Dispersion System) is not original from Mofatt. It is a defensive mechanism of the Tardis that existed since Classic Who.

It's pronounced Dav-Ross. I had tried to correct the same thing with other reactors such as Blind Wave and Sesskasays a number of times because they keep saying Dav-roes.
The one thing i dislike about this episode is Davros opening his eyes but never the less great reaction.
Oh the shades...not the sonic shades!! what were they thinking? haha most of this series really doesen't do it for me. However i am still looking forward to seeing you're reactions going through it. You are easily more entertaining than series 9 haha please don't ever change

If you're talking about the one I think you are, I look more kindly on it now and appreciate it as an experiment that maybe didn't pay off quite as strongly as it might have. Moff's experiments can also result in things like "Blink" or "Heaven Sent" so I'm happy to give him a lot of latitude. :)
