Possibly one of the greatest 2 step records ever constructed Groove chronicles ( Noodles & Lewis ) This had amazing production , the vocal was nicely done The drums , jazz sax solo riff and smooth keys , but what really takes this record where no other record at the time was doing , yes all dance , house music not just garage It had a twist !!! Something that's unexpected in the middle ( Bridge with a edge maybe ) An introduction of a D&B Reece Bass under a Subline bass that basically takes the record somewhere else Genius by EL B & Noodles I first heard this record dropped at World Dance in 98 in the Garage Room by DJ Hermit ( 2 as 1)
Trust garage was known for being classy and sexy, this track helps to capture part of era! Men wore Suits, loafers and women wore dresses ..infairness women continue to dress well us men on the other hand think tracksuits and man pouches are acceptable. Some men would go all out and be in a three piece suit, waist coat, some would even have a tie with their shirt! Trainers tracksuits wouldn't of even got you through the door and that was the generic standard! Classy!!!
Seems classy now, but it seemed a bit over-the-top at the time. Especially the loafers, getting scuffed on those sticky floors. 'No drugs, caps or trainers; ladies, less means oh so definitely more ...' No smile, no entry. Security was 'tight but polite.'
You dun know!!! Those Twice as Nice days. Its sounds like alot of effort for me now but back then, its was all part of the fun and swag. Miss those vibes
A bit like Ashburton Grove, the street in Highbury that completely disppeared underneath construction of Emirates Stadium. The street sign is preserved in the Arsenal Museum. I used to go with my dad to the tip there in the 1980s, including to the Little Wonder Café.

Oi Oi Club Space Waterden Road E15. Booooming sound system
It's strange that today Waterden road no longer exists
Good times! Big it up!!
Club Space was long walk from Stratford tube station along industrial roads. I remember Wesley Jay playing there.
@@EdiDrums More Hackney marshes its basically where the olympic village is now.
