Hi. Can I publish my books uploading pdf files? My books have lots of pictures, I am photographer too😊 I finally managed to reduce the size of my files without loosing quality. If this is the case. I am looking forward publishing with u too.
Hi Israel, thanks for your question! We don't support PDF upload at the moment unfortunately. If you have the book in another format, you can upload that but keep in mind there's a 100MB limit. Hope this helps!
What is "Digital Rights Management?" I haven't seen that before. Also, will self-publishing with you all interfere with me self-publishing on other platforms?
Hi! DRM refers to the ability to prevent readers from copying, printing or sharing your books. We don't require exclusivity on Kobo Writing Life so you can publish on other platforms.

How does the author see what the book looks like when it is available to the public. My epub file is a mess. I'd hate for it to be what the public tries to read.

Hello! It can take 24-72 hours for a book to go live on Kobo. If your book is taking longer than that, please email writinglife@kobo.com.

Can I publish a hard cover book?
