Thank you so much for this excellent video about Amazon KDP vs. Kobo. I requested this topic because it was unclear which one I would use. Thanks to your clear explanation, I can make a much better decision. For the puzzle book I am currently working on, I will choose Amazon KDP select. Puzzle books are not suited for a digital format; they must be printed. For creating only the ebook version, my preference goes slightly to Kobo. Based on reviews over the Internet, the customer support of Kobo is better than Amazon. Kobo is a smaller team than Amazon. That may be why the Kobo team added a more personal touch to their support. You are correct when you say the choice is mainly based on the type of publication (ebook/print) and the markets in which you want to publish. I have to do better marketing research for my books. For my ebook-only publishing, Kobo is probably a better option because I target the UK and the Common Wealth countries. I appreciate your support very much, and be assured that the respect is mutual! You are an excellent teacher who undoubtedly stands out in the crowd. Thank you again for this great video! Kind Regards, Chris
Thanks again for your great comments. We are lucky to have other options for our publishing, particularly if we are unfortunate enough to have an account closed. There is nothing stopping us from using more than one platform (as long as you are not enrolled in KDP Select) and reaching an even greater market.
KDP is a great platform and the world's biggest Book Store, but a little sprinkle of marketing can turn your book into a bestseller! You can market through KDP.
Yes, you can certainly publish your ebook on Amazon even if it’s available on Kobo Writing Life first. Just make sure to check their specific terms and conditions for any exclusivity agreements!
Hi, not sure about Payoneer - just check with Kobo support, they are quick to respond usually. Yes, you can. There's one thing you need to check before you put your book on other platforms, and that is if you are enrolled in the KDP Select program. If you are enrolled in that program, you need to pull your book from it before publishing other places like Kobo or Barnes and Noble. You can't use the ISBN issued by KDP, you will need to get different ISBN for Kobo.
@@wombatcoaching thanks , I don't know about those you mentioned platform barners and nobles can I uploaded those two also thanks for inform me for that
eBooks are very easy to make and sell rather well. Watch this video on how to use the Free Kindle Create software. th-cam.com/video/8G51bHnn7nA/w-d-xo.html Audio books are great however, they are not available for everyone to create with Amazon ACX. They can be created with other providers however may be too costly.
Thanks so much sir,I really appreciate your truthful heart of God kind, I've opened my account but still don't understand how to upload my book, can you help in this area also. May God bless you abundantly too.

Hello, you would need to ask Kobo directly. They are based in Canada, so I am not sure what payment accounts they accept. All the best. Neil

Yes, you can also use Barnes and Noble - similar to KDP, you will need to purchase your own ISBN for each book.
