That’s awesome. I have the same set up on my truck. I covered 3/4 of the top to avoid high winds from driving and avoid eye colds. So far it’s worked for me🙌🏻🕊
Do you ever have stray birds join in with yours and come in with them? Glad you post these videos. As always we're enjoying them and watch for the next one.
Hi Mike, They are going well the youngster in with Mealy is a Silver. I know a lot of your countrymen call Mealy's , Silvers, the one you have there is a proper Silver. The dogs are looking great too. GREAT VIDEO. 🌟💯👍
@@Rocky.Ridge.Pigeons IT'S A PITY THE YOUNG SILVER ISN'T A RACING PIGEON, BECAUSE SILVER COCKS ARE I THINK IT IS AROUND 1 IN 20. 000 AND THEY ALL SEEM TO BREED WINNERS. ALL IS WELL WITH THEM. READY FOR TRAINING. GOOD LUCK 🌟💯👍

Hi my friend you got a lot of birds ...and they looking good...fly like the wind...rollers looking nice and your dogs...don't you have problem with snakes my friend...nice video🙏🙏
Thanks for your comment my friend and yes we do have snake problems. My daughters dog got bit last month and almost died! doing fine now thankfully. A lot of poisonous snakes around! I hope all is well at Coleridge loft ✌️
The birds are looking great! Seems like a happy balance of pigeons that are nice to look at and flying ability. What did you do with the other adult shepherds you had?

@@Rocky.Ridge.Pigeons hi Mike. Last two times I haven’t been able to watch your videos. Last time you deleted and today it says private account and can’t watch it. Please check it out. Thanks 😘😘😘
Beautiful lofts Mike! I like how long and high your homers flew for. Do any of the Mortvedts fly in that group? You are so right on the difference feed amounts make with the birds trapping and performing. Overfeeding gets you nothing. I breed homers in Maine and got some nice Mortvedts from DonA. in MI.
My Morovitz originally came from DonA and yes there are 3 flying with the other racers. The flew for 2 1/2 hours today. And one of my Rocky Ridge whites was with them also. I know what you mean about the feed if you make them happy and give them what they want they can’t fly.
I believe my RR whites are mortvedts but can't prove it. They are outstanding so far and I can't wait to see how they do racing. Thanks for your interest Jon.
Great video Mike. Birds are looking good. Question...Could you do a video on how you bring your young birds (Late hatches) into the flying loft? When the older ones are already flying really good, not losing the YBs.
There are two ways. You can just bring them in and let them fly when they feel ready. I never lose young birds doing that. Or you can start a new kit and wait until they are flying 20 to 30 minutes before letting them in with the more experience Birds. You will know when they are ready! I just had them in when it’s only one or two. But if I have like 10 to 15 I’ll start a new kit.
@@Rocky.Ridge.Pigeons Thanx, that is pretty much what I thought. I lost a YB yesterday when it flew out while cleaning. Stupid mistake on my part, but it still hurts! :)
Amazing Video mike!! They are doing great with the flying for 1.5 hours and 2 hours. I will be calling you tomorrow sometime to discuss the birds with you!! Text me a good time to call.
Hi Douglas, The only medication I use for the young birds is worming meds, and fly spray for feather mites. I do the worming and repeat 10 days later. Other than that just the correct amount of the right food some vitamins, all in one grit and they fly like the wind! Thanks for your question.

Nice birds. The one you call a Dun Bar I call a Blue Bar. Course I don't know about colors nor genetics. I judge all colors by the colors of horses.
